From a business perspective, Nicktoons wants the show closer to the Wolverine movie. And that does make sense, so yeah.

Yes, it is the casual fans that might be swayed from the buzzing and promotion of the Wolverine film that they are after. There are millions to tens of millions of potental casual fans out there and tens of thousands of hard core fans like us.

From a business perspective the fans hard core enough to read spoilers will still likely be excited about it enough to watch it on TV, buy the DVDs, merchandise, etc.

It's funny how sPectacular sPider-Man has a "no cleavage" rule but there's a tight, open blouse in every other scene on this show.

Well Nickelodeon doesn't seem to mind cleavage.

I think for one thing, this show wasn't really produced for any specific network. Marvel produced it along with another animation studio without having any like working broadcast deal in place.

So I think that's why the show doesn't seem quite as sanitized as other network cartoons. It's got a bit more serious, mature edge to the stories.

And yeah, the women are hotter .

My problem with the women is that they look like anorexics with implants. Which, ya know, is generally awesome in most cartoons. But the more realistic art style of this series doesn't get away with impossible hip-to-waist ratios as well as say...

Total Drama Island's 4 fingered charicatures. But damn, at least those girls HAVE hips. By contrast, W&TXM's just look sickly.

Scarlett Witch needs to put away the heroine and eat a cheeseburger.

Oh yeah, face and costume-wise she's fine. But take another look under Pietro's shoulder. I thought she had a shadow over the right half of her corset but no, that's the other side of her cape back there. Wanda's torso is just slightly thicker than her sPine oughtta be.
