Yeah I saw Chyna, she got fat and drunk.

OK, jpr....Once again you haven't done your homework. Yes, while on The Surreal Life she drank waaaay too much and she hasn't really been in her best shape(Though she is still in better shape than most women) since she tried singing(THE PAIN!:wow: THE HORROR!:wow: ), but she hasn't gotten fat. She had straightened her life up and she's making it.

Re: Blythe Metz-Not a large amount of films, but most of them are of the B-Horror variety if I remember right. Clip was OK, but if you're gonna submit a clip like that, I think it would be better if it didn't look so staged. She has a demo tape of what she's done so far at her site. I saw a recent interview with her in Sirens Of Cinema, and they didn't say anything about her being interested in WW.....

Re: Megan Fox- was in "Mean Girls" if I remember right( I didn't watch it, just saw it was by her name), was one of the choices for Mary Marvel over at marvelfamily.com. I can't recall having seen her in anything.

Megan Fox wasn't in "Mean Girls". That might have been Lacey Chabert.

Megan Fox was in the other Lohan movie, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.

I remember seeing Lacey on the cover for Mean Girls. Just picked up the new copy of Maxim with her....verrrrry Grrrrrrr!

And Megan is a fox, no doubt there!

Jennifer Connelly...No battle.
She has the personality and the looks.
She would be the iconic Wonder Woman.

And Amen to that.

Everything looks decent except for her face... She looks more like an online fangirl.
Definitely, just like Singer's Superman cast (not one of those actors looks like their comic book counterpart--it's a 200 million dollar fan film full of cheap knock-offs) and that's what this woman looks like. Baccarin, Monica Dean, and even Taylor Cole are far superior.

Nicola McLean

Wonder Woman
(character sketch by John Byrne)

Someone suggested this one over at The Planet. She's Miss Scotland/Miss United Kingdom 2006, Nicola McLean. Nicola is 22 years old and almost 5'11" tall. My opinion is that she looks like a John Byrne version of Wonder Woman. I'm sure there are those of you who don't like skinny models as candidates, but she looks perfectly alright to me. She may need to take some acting lessons and possibly change her name since there is already someone with that name in the industry. What you think?

Pamela David has made erotic movies and tv shows for the latin american playboy channel. She is very good acting in comedy, but not in other areas. And if you want to suggest her for Wonder Woman, she cant do it right now because she is pregnant. But she is a beatiful woman wihtout any doubt, and she is very known here in Argentina.

No it's not Julia Roberts, sadly.:csad: I am kind of serious about this and if I can not get one other person to agree with me on Julia Roberts as Wonder Woman then I would just be fighting a losing cause.

I will have to use Ms. Roberts for Wonder Woman when I return to my domain. In the meantime, my newest selection should garnish some serious consideration as well as the rest of my choices.

Julia Roberts is having another kid, maybe she could be Wonder Woman.

Hi porotoparker! :)

:wow:

Well you have to wonder would DC use a porn star in the role - I really can't see it. I don't think such a person would be seen as an appropriate role model for young girls/women.

Which is a pity, shes a very lovely girl and looks perfect. :csad:

Well good luck to Miss David.

Shes a gorgeous girl with the perfect look.

The voluptuous nature of Wonder Woman dictates that they must cast someone sexy in the lead role.

A lot of the girls touted in this thread are pretty and/or even beautiful, but very few of them are also inherently 'sexy'.

I think the phrase 'sex sells' is of paramount importance to Wonder Woman, because its a female lead trying to sell primarily an action/adventure movie where the key demographic is males 13-35.

NO .. WonderWoman should be played ba a greek actress like she is ment to be..

I don't think so. Throughout the history of film many ethinc characters were played by white actors and no one has complained about it. Cleopatra was an Egyptian queen and I can not think of one time where she was actually played by an Egyptian actress in a major motion picture. I can recall Claudette Colbert and Elizabeth taylor playing the in the role at different times (Colbert was French and Taylor was American, both were white). I can also remember Joey Bishop playing a Native American in the film "Texas Across the River" in 1966, and Ben Kingsley playing Mohandas K. Gandhi in the film by the same name back in 1982. Nobody complained about that. But when someone wants to entertain the notion of a person of color playing a character who appeared to be white in the comic books, thats when people start complaining that it is out of character. Nobody brought up the issue of ethnicity as being important in these intances, but a number of you are now. I find that quite the double standard and out and out racism, dontcha think?.

Never heard more truthful words on these boards.
And then people always say it’s not about race. Yeah right.
Even with Wonder Woman, who is a character that is expressly said to be Greek, most people still want a northern European and or Arian actress. This type of people are probably the same ignorant kind that thought Bruce Lee was too Asian looking to play an Asian character in Kung Fu and had Carradine with some ridiculous make up instead. This makes me sick!

P.S. For those saying this doesn't happen in today's Hollywood, just check Troy, Alexander, Gladiator and all the latest sand and sandals movies. It still much the same. Full of people like this out there:

Her as Wonder Woman??? No Invisible Jet??? No blue star spangled panties??? Uuuhhh... does Joss know this is Wonder Woman he is making because this movie I am reading about smells like a steaming pile of dog *****.

I agree that it would be wonderful to have a real Greek actress playing Diana, but to be fair, Diana Prince does pass as a (forgive this) "mild-mannered" American woman. And while I don't believe that there's anything wrong with black heroes, Wonder Woman is quite obviously not black. I'm not sure, maybe the woman pictured above would be able to seem like an exotic Amazon when in WW costume, then blend into the crowd as Diana. But I just don't see her in the role. ((Also, for me personally, it's not just a one-way issue. I would have just as big a problem if they tried to have a white guy play GL John Stewart.))

Wonder Woman should be played by a greek actress such as Nia Vardalos from MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING. She is gorgeous and ten times better looking than any bollywood actress or Kristen Bell. I mean - look she is a beautiful looking amazonian woman and would be perfect. Everybody thinks she is hot as well:

1) the phrase "mild-mannered American woman" applies to black (as well as other races of) women as well. If you mean "caucasian" just say "caucasian." Seriously, I'm going to slap the next person who uses a phrase akin to "regular American" to exclusively describe white people.
2) The actress is Indian, not black.

Here are some more gorgeous greek actresses that should be playing the lead role in Wonder Woman:

Angela Bassett

Toni Collette

Hillary Swank

Parker Posey

and once again, the best choice and most beautiful and best actress, Nia Vardalos

Parker Posey. Because we need a Wonder Woman who seems drunk/high all the time.
