same here. I kinda have my doubts bc Yostt/Kyle arent writing this and they are the ones who made X-23 the great character she is today. Marjorie Liu is doing this and she did the oneshot I didnt care for. I hope the cover artist isnt the one thats doing the inside bc while it looks good, its a bit cute and girly for me tastes. I think she needs something more gritty and dark

Yost/Kyle not doing this is kind of worrisome, but I think Marjorie Liu can handle this. I'm only judging from from the Black Widow series shes doing, I mean its only 2 issues in, but its pretty decent. Granted the one shot wasn't THAT good, but a series hopefully will be better.

As far as the art goes, If the cover artist is the inside artist, it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world, I mean I agree that it should be darker or whatever, but I also like goofy cartoony stuff. I think violent cartoony art is awesome (kind of like Chew).

I don't know, X-23 is one of my favorite characters, so I just want this to be good.

Loving it. I think this will stick. Laura is a great character, and while I wish Yost/Kyle were doing this, I think this can be a great X book. I really hate Daken, so I hope she gets a chance to through him around soon.

At least ML is acknowleding the fact that Wolverine isn't Wolverine, I've a feeling his new ongoing, X-Force, Uncanny, Avengers etc will ignore this hope Daken's ongoing deals with it too.

I like Daken and I still want to see these two get soem real face to face time. I'd love to hear what they might say to each other, if anything.

I so can't wait for this. I have Always thought that Draken was really Lame and a bad idea,and Laura was Awsome. but this sounds really good. I just want to see Laura kick Lame Evil Wolverine's Butt. I must admit the cover art did scary me a little bit, it's nice to know its a different artist inside.

I really really do like that cover art though. I kind of like it more then the actual inside art. That weird cutsey girly art would be awesome if it was kind of more violent and bloody.
