It's so easy for artists to get the thumbs on the wrong side.

Would be cool to see Hellion join in on that considering his history with her, but I have a feeling he will amount to just being a generic cameo, not necesarily adding to the plot

this was a really good issue. of course Choi's work is beautiful, but my favorite part was Wolverine and Cyclops.
so [blackout]if Laura gets her arm chopped off is her healing factor supposed to just seal the wound or is it going to grow a new arm? id imagine the former, but if Logan can rebuild from just a skeleton i suppose anythings possible[/blackout].
oh, and whos Kimura?
annoying b--ch who's been stalking and trying to kill X-23 across all the books she gets featured inoh, and whos Kimura?
What I haven't read myself, I picked up from uncannyxmen.net or marvel.wikia.com. The Marvel Wiki could stand to be updated more often, and there are quite a few empty articles there, but they get bonus points for being the first website to tell me anything about Madison Jeffries, Dr. Nemesis, and Dr. Yuriko Takiguchi. Uncannyxmen.net is so freaking thorough, they have a long list of contributors who write (all text) summaries for every X-related comic book they can find.Havok, have you read like every single X-book ever printed? cuz you seem to be this encyclopedia of all things mutant.
and i could probably say the same thing about Manic.
lol...nah just a fan of X-23, who's been followin her appearances. I think Kimura only appeared in her minis and New X-men, at least the stuff that Yost/Kyle wrote for her.
If I have one complaint about the issue and it was that Josh YET again gets knocked out. I think someone should start a drinking game for every issue that he gets taken down in bc its getting ridiculous. He's potentially the most powerful member on the team but for some reason he spends more time unconcscious

Personally, I would prefer to know how Choi does his art.
Normally I might have agreed with you but, Josh has his youth and inexperience to keep him in line. He has alot of power but hasnt matured and isnt able to effectively utilize his full potential yet. Its not like he's Phoenix here. Theres no need to constantly have him knocked out his powers havent reached that level where they've become a challenge to writers. Him going down all the time seems way too convenient and it happens too oftenAnd you've pretty much answered your own question. Characters get too powerful, fans ask "Well why didn't so-and-so simply do this to stop the problem of the month instead of everything else we went through?" and writers are stuck without being able to build up proper tension and suspense for the readers when there's a practical deus ex machina right there.
KY have already had Elixir grow back someone's ripped out heart, and give someone a benign brain tumor. They've set the bar too high.Normally I might have agreed with you but, Josh has his youth and inexperience to keep him in line. they must have been working together for YEARS for Sonia to know what type of shadows and highlights he wants without any help. thats how i do my work, but i do it all myself to the end. i didn't think there was ANYONE in comics- especially someone as detailed as Choi- who leave his pencils totally clean. His stuff's actually quite simple, it's Oback that tends to add a majority of the detail in the inking and coloring phase:
