Really? You like Land more than Dodson? I'll admit that Dodson doesn't have the prettiest art on the block, but I shudder to think what Dr. Takiguchi's Godzilla-dog would've looked like if Land had drawn it. The man can't even draw Beast without tracing a picture of a lion's head.

Ive always hated Dodson's art, going back to the first time I saw it in Gen X. I dont think Land's is bad. My main gripe with him is the constant posing and smiling the characters do.

She's been one of my favorite new characters to be introduced in the last 5 years. I wish she'd get more spotlight and being Wolverine's clone, you'd think Marvel would be pushing her more. I loved her minis and would love to see more solo stuff from her. Id definetly read an ongoing featuring her

are Innocence Lose and Target X her only 2 tpb's? I'm catching up with New X-Men and currently reading X-Force and I just want to read about her past

You dislike the art?!?! I think it's some of the best stuff out there at the mo.

And Surge and Hellion ain't dead, Boom Boom is though. I'm sure I read that somewhere.

Ahh I see. Me was confused!

I'm very curious to see what Hope's powers will be. We got a glimpse of them in Cable #12 if I remember correctly, but I couldn't make out what she was doing. It looked like lightning was coming out her hands or something.

Yea, I wouldn't be surprised if it's that. But she does seem to be showing powers already. Check out Cable #12.

Yeah, I'll give it a look when I get home. I wouldn't be surprised if they just did that for dramatic effect though. When Sage jumpstarted Gambit's powers in X-Treme X-Men, I'm pretty sure there were sparks and s**t lol.

She also appeared in NYX v1 and during Claremont's Uncanny X-men run. I beleive she was in 450-460

I'm just happy to hear that other people are X-23 fans. I loved both of her mini series, and she was kick ass in New X-Men and now X-Force.

I have been a big fan of hers for quite some time. I too would like to see her in a possible ongoing. You could do so much with her IMO. I feel as though Daken was created just to be the "anti-logan"

what was her first comic appearance? was it the savage land story from Claremont? and was there ever a time when her codename was "Talon"? i could've swore i saw that in a New X-Men scan or something.

i'm just now getting exposed to Kyle and Yost's writing through X-Force and MC, and i can see where the hate is coming from. i was pissed when they killed Boom Boom, Tabitha, whatever she's going by today, and i don't even care about the character! and i've grown to love the New Mutants (especially Surge and Mercury) ever since Carey's 'Blinded by Light' so if Surge dies i just might go on a rampage.
