oh hell no!!! Meet The Spartans.......

Yet I bet you watched the whole movie:o

yup. it was free, i'm not contributing to it making any money, and i had nothing better to do... and again, morbid curiosity. like when you slow down when you see a car wreck. you know it's going to be bad, but you just can't help it.

Sadly, car wrecks are funnier.:csad:

I watched this pile of feces....for free of course just to see how awful it was. It exceeded my expectations. It's worse than any of the Scary Movies, Date Movie, and Epic Movie. You know a joke is bad when you have to explain it to someone.
WTF!? Scary Movie 1 was great and 2 was funny.

It was funny if you have the mind set of a 6th grader...

I was in 7th or 8th grade when it came out:o

But there are really no spoof movies that stand out in our generation. Austin Powers was great but the 3rd got jaded...but that's about it.

Not Another Teen Movie was one of the better spoof movies of this generation

It was alright...

Scary Movie had a 53% on RT and NATM had 28% and of course Meet the Spartans has a 3%.

You're right. I really was talking about 3 and 4 mostly.
I personally liked Scary Movie 3 because they didn't really plagorize(that much) off of other films, well not as much as Meet the Spartans. Scary Movie 4 however was just extraordinarilly stupid in everyway as much as it had plagorized(even off of it's own predessor by the way they kept beating the crap out of the little kid).

Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz could be considered spoof

If so, they are a thousand times better than any of this (insert genre here) movie...

I liked Shaun of the Dead better as a spoof then Hot Fuzz because with that you actually know what they're spoofing apart from Hot Fuzz which takes a bit from a assortment of action flicks. Still both great movies no doubt, Hot Fuzz was a tad bit more dumber than Shaun of the Dead but then you realize that's what they were going for.

I wish they would have named it Meet The Spartans Movie...then it would have sucked even more.

Scary Movie 1 is one of the best spoof movies of our generation. No it doesn't touch Monty Python or Mel Brooks...but it was a funny movie:o

I liked Scary Movie 3 more. Actually I thought scary movie 3 was pretty funny.

I always laugh so hard in Hot Fuzz every time Timothy Dalton opens his mouth. His line delivery is so spot on, it's hillarious.

I'm looking forward to this despite everyone thinking it sucks.
The trailer made me laugh.

I wonder if I am one of the only people that didn't laugh once during the entire Movie. I went to watch it with like half a dozen friends, they all almost died laughing. Me, I just forced a smile once or twice.

When I caught it on TV though, suddenly I thought the movie was funny. Strange. Probably took a year for the humor to sink in.

This movie was not profitable for Fox. The worldwide gross is 50million. The budget was 30million. Half of the 50million goes to the theaters which showed the movie. Fox basically lost 5million unless a few million idiots buy the DVD.
