Ok, the movie just came out, but damn if I can't already wait for this thing to be released on home video! Whedon has already confirmed there will be 30 min of extra footage and it seems like alot of that will be focused on Steve adjusting to the new world, which would be SWEET. It would be nice to get more background on Thor's arrival back to earth as well.

But what would you guys like to see on the DVD/Blu-ray release? And what do you guys think the deleted scenes will consist of?

cnt wait to get it on DVD..spend a couple bucks and watch it as many times as I want LoL

There will likely be tons of deleted scenes But I'm hoping for an Extended/Director's Cut,I'm also hoping for cast&director commentary!!

Can't wait to see those deleted scenes.

Of course, a commentary is a must. Whedon does the best commentaries. I'll be shocked if it doesn't have one.

One thing I'd love to see but am not holding my breath for is gag reel. I just LOVE gag reels, and with this cast, you know it would be a great one.

You can tell the cast had tons of fun and so I'm sure there are tons of bloopers&stuff for a gag reel!

Im dying for an extended edition. Is it confirmed that it will be released?

Can't wait for the deleted scenes. Also hoping there is a nice documentary focusing on the comics.

I love in-depth, feature-length making-of documentaries, so I'm hoping this one has that as well.

Would be great IF they also add a little feature about the mid-credits scene, talking about a little history on Thanos !!

I'm sure Joss will do a commentary. I also hope there will be some good behind-the-scenes featurettes and plenty of deleted scenes. A blooper reel would be great, too.

A bluRay collection box of all MS movies is what I want to see, steelbox, with many in depht behind the scenes feaeures. Not just disappointing featurettes like on the Thor BluRay.. also: a short feature about Phase 2 would be nice

I am dying for an extended cut... I think the only major flaws in the movie are due to some connective/character scenes that were cut for length.

Marvel, give me an extended cut and I will buy two blu-rays. One to watch and one just to say 'Nice job'.

I would happily pay for an extended cut.

For all we know they probably already did commentary for the movie already; as for a release, I'd guess some time in September.

Don't want any gag reel, I want the director's cut instead. Michael Bay put a 3 hour added feature on Transformers: ROTF maybe the Marvel execs can do that as well.

I too am impatient for it to hit Blu-ray already. I hope it's packed with hours of behind the scenes footage and deleted scenes, and that an extended cut is included.

Even IF all the missing scenes are done as deleted scenes on the dvd/blu-ray with no extended cut..I can imagine Marvel/Disney pulling a Peter Jackson with how he released Extended Cuts for the LOTR trilogy&King Kong months after dvd release!

Being that everyone got along so well, I'd be surprised if there wasn't a blooper reel of sorts.

Plus, usually every show/movie Whedon works on has the best bloopers.

Considering the previous Marvel studios released blu rays were packed, especially the iron mans, This making a billion dollars is SURE to get a damn fine Blu ray release. Im hoping for steelbooks, special editions, alternate covers, the works! I will get them all for this perfect movie. Hopefully its more than a standard looking blue or silver disc. I want some fancy artwork!

This film, on Blu Ray, on a 50 inch 1080p screen, will be utterly ridiculous. I can just imagine it now. Insane.

I'd love a cast commentary track with all of the Avengers on it.

But there's no chance in hell of that happening.

I guess they could split it up. One track with the director, producer/writers. A second track with RDJ, Hemsworth, Ruffalo, and Evans. Then another track with Gregg, Johansson, Smulders, Renner, and Jackson.

Has Sam Jackson ever done a commentary track?

With how Marvel has done past releases, it is typically about 3-4 months from US opening until the Blu-ray/DVD so I'm expecting a mid-September release.
