Batman Begins one year ago

Right after graduation rehearsal i took 20 friends of mine and my family to go watch it. My Marvel (about 4) friends didnt like it, (but their opinion doesnt matter as they enjoyed Elektra) Yea, they're pretty dense

I'm a Marvel man myself... and even I can't deny the brilliance of Batman: Begins.

It's perfect.

I remember going to the 7:00 showing with my dad and being so excited about it! It was such an amazing experience. I went the next night to see it again and I saw it four times total.

Went with my best friend to the midnight showing. I was so worried we weren't going to get good seats and my experience would be ruined. It wasn't sold out, but it was packed. Anyway, I loved it...so I saw it again that same day (or next day, depending on how you look at it).

10 times in total. 3 of them in IMAX.

Well I think I was too excited when I watched the first midnight showing here in the UK cause for some reason when I walked out the theatre after it finished I couldnt remember much of the film. It was as if it flashed by my eyes but I fixed that by watching it another 9 times to make sure I remember everything.

Hope it doesnt happen with Superman Returns although im not as excited about that as I was with Batman.

I only went because my friends wanted to see it. I had no interest in Batman at the time, and I actually disliked Bale. So as the movie began I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be funny if two hours later, I walked out a fan of both the movie and Bale?...Hahaha. Yeah, right."

Well, two hours later as the movie ended I was tremendously surprised...I loved the movie! I had enjoyed other superhero movies before but never gotten so emotionally involved in or been so impressed by one. And as for Bale...well, I no longer disliked him. I wasn't his newest fan, but I didn't mind him anymore.

One week later, I was feverishly renting all the Bale movies I could get my hands on.

Man, these things just sneak up on you sometimes.
