564 days ago Batman Begins was released in theaters.

In 564 days, The Dark Knight will be released.

Can you believe it? We're halfway through the 3 year wait between Batman films. Kinda funny that the halfway point falls on New Years, isn't it?

The wierd thing is, it's not like I noticed this a while back and simply waited until now to mention this. I just happened to be thinking about the fact that we had a year and a half to go, then realized BB came out about a year and a half ago. I checked the specific dates cuz I was curious as to when that midpoint would actually be, and it just happened to be now.

I wonder if WB realizes it. Maybe we'll get some news today to celebrate it (and New Years of course).

I bet more than anything that Nolan and Warner Bros. have cast all the new characters for TDK by now, they're just going to keep mum about it until right before filming starts. Hopefully we'll get some more news about casting sometime later this month or early February.

I'm not sure, to be honest. Roven said the pre-shoot was this month but in an interview, Nolan off-handly mentioned - when questioned about Dent casting - that shooting started in Feb.
