I pickd up a Wizard mag and glanced at it brifly, said something about Onslaught 's Return...? I never kept up with the Onslaught ark. Last thing I do remember is magneto somehow became a young man with no memory of his past? And this Onslaught had the appearence of Mangeto'ish "guise" And it also brought up some deep MC17'ish points about Prof. X secretly being in love with Jean... WOAH!

Anyway, I guess my question is just what OR who was Onslaught?

Onslaught was a psychc entity composed of many of Charles Xaivier's and Magneto's worse character traits. It used their powers to create an artificial body for itself, and possesses greatly amplified versions of their powers.

Onslaught was the combination of part of Magneto's psyche and Professor Xaviers evil side. Though I suspect that Marvel may reveal that Onslaught was really

Going a little off topic. But what happned with that whole "X-Traitor" thing? I know what was another big ark that got alot of play through the 90's. Did Marvel ever make due on any of that stuff?

Bishop always thought the traitor was Gambit, turns out it was Xavier/Onslaught

of course the X-men survived so its all irrelevant now
