I always thought the opening for the Punisher Seqel should be very violent, and include characters a die hard fan should recognise. Here's somewhat how my opening would work.
[Theme music]
[Pan down into a subway. the ceiling drips... a few discarded papers on the ground blow a bit... etc]
[a woman walks down into the subway to wait for the train.]
Frank begins a narrative
[A man sneaks up and grabs the woman, pushes her against a pillar, and holds a knife to her chin.
The woman gives the man her purse, but before he could make off with it, Frank points a gun to his head.]
The narrative continues, Frank mentions he's killed a lot of crime overlords, and gotten a large price on his head.
[the woman whips out a gun and points it at Frank. Fans will notice this woman as Tequila. The mugger smiles frank hears sounds coming from behind him.]
[fans will notice the people behind him are Stiletto, Silence, Roc, Garrote, and Cane. It's an ambush.]
[ frank turns back around. The "mugger" was Combat, and he punches frank to the ground.]
[ Frank rolls out of the way of a fallow up face-stomp, and shoots Combat in the face with a pistol]
[large fight breaks out.]
[the fight concludes as frank breaks Cane's cand and decapitates him with garrote's Steel wire. Roc works his way up]
Frank (nartritave): The best have tried to kill me.
[Frank charges Roc and pushes him onto the subway track.]
[Roc gets up. But the subway comes and.... you get the picture.]
Frank (narrative): And the best have all died.]
[Pan back up out of the subway]
"This is not a tale of vengance. No, revenge is not a valid motive. This is Punishment."
[Title]
