Yeah, its cold here too, well not cold.....I guess 72 isn't cold......but considering we have "Spring Break" next week....I don't see much beach time with 72 degree temperatures.......

I may be preaching to the converted here, but Doom obviously changes himself back to his unblemished self when he steals the Surfer's powers.

It wasn't a Doom Bot- unless you're talking about the very end- when he has the mask on... possible, but for a Doom Bot to have that complex set of emotional range and transformation? Don't see it happening.

Doombots in the comics are actually programed in such a way that they actually believed that they themselves are Doom unless the real Doom or other Doombots enter their vicinity. This is to ensure that no Doombot will overthrow the real Doom.
