...Yeah, this is perfect timing/place for Ewan.

Alec looked harder for his age. That's merely the only "noticable contrast" between the ages/timeline.

 

I forgot that Ewan was playing about ten years older than his actual age while filming AOTC and ROTS so the timing of this series works out very conveniently in that regard.

 

Plus the simple fact that people age differently. Some people can look older than they really are or younger than they are. Some people age well and some poorly.

 

Easier living, both people using beauty products, people staying out of the sun, etc. People in their 40 and 50s now probably look how people looked in the 30s decades ago.

 

The man also is living on a planet that’s completely covered in sand and has two suns. Not the most ideal living conditions.

 

Plus the simple fact that they are being portrayed by different actors at different points.
