I am giving a presentation about Batman in a 'Heroes' class and I was just wondering if there were any other comics that presented the origins of Batman.

I know that there is 'The Man who Falls' and 'Batman: Year One', but I was wondering if there were any other comics that delved into it or offered their own interpretations of his origins....

Origins meaning, basically in this sense, what happened in between his parent's murder and the moment he became Batman for the first time. :cwink:

The Batman Begins comic book adaptation. :oldrazz:

Over the years there have been many books done about Batman and how he came to be!One of the one's I remember was called "the untold legend of the Batman" it was a 3 part story that showed the Bruce wore the robin suit even before Dick did.But most of it is no longer part of his history now!

Detective Comics #27 :o

Actually, no. That was the first published appearance of Batman -- and within his story in that issue, it was made clear that he was a brand new face on the crimefighting scene and was meeting Gordon for the first time and so forth (although Gordon already knew "Bruce Wayne") -- but it didn't tell us a single thing about any "origin story" that had made him choose to dress up like a bat and go fight criminals! We only knew that he was doing it, for reasons we could only guess at!

(For all we knew at the time, maybe he was just doing it to win a bet with some friends from his old college fraternity? And why am I saying "we" when my parents weren't even born yet at the time that story came out? But you get the idea.)
