What kind kind of place was that, if we're looking deeper into it?
Was it an alternate earth that never got any biological life? Or was it the earth during the stages of its creation?

What's up with the green energy? Was the whole planet a organism with a brain?

Or was it just H-E-L-L?

As for the alternate dimension that FF2015 is set in, it's called NON-CANON since it will never affect any other continuity. It has nothing to do with the MCU or the FoX-Men, nor will it ever since Marvel are trying to downplay the FF and Fox are deeply embarrassed by it.

So if it's set in a "parallel universe," then why care? It's not like the FF will ever have Xavier schooling Franklin or a Thing vs Colossus fight as long as Fox hold on to the rights.
