What are the other good modern films influenced by German Expressionism besides Tim Burton's two Batman films?

This is really a question for the Misc films forum.

I suppose it is, but since Burton's Batman films are the only two, that leaves us poop out of luck.

From the few Modern German Expressionist films, these are all there is besides Burton's two Batman films.

The Crow and Dark City by Alex Proyas
Many of Tim Burton's other films like Edward Scissorhands and Sweeney Todd
Many of Alfred Hitchcock's films have the influence present
Ridley Scott's Blade Runner
Nearly all the 30's/40's classic Universal Monster films are influenced
Film-noir is also influenced by it

New director's should revive this awesome genre.

Realism is quite a trend right now and formalist films these days tend to have too much fantasy. So, it's not very likely for the genre to be revived.

On the contrary, I think people will thirst for a little flavor in their films and tire of realism. I know I am. Sure, Nolan does amazing work, but then you've got them trying to do Robin Hood and other films in that style and it gets tiresome.
