Paramount's Hasbro Universe

A Visionaries movie is something I have wanted since being a kid, so co,our me excited for that one!

Glad they are extending the Transformers franchise as well, there is so much more to be mined than what they have done in the movies, despite me enjoying them as action movies. The Cybertron movie alone sounds great.

MASK for me is a no-brainer, in today's entertainment landscape that franchise is money.

Now the question is, who is the Hasbro version of thanos.

Just take all your cues from the comics. That is like the only medium that I really feel does weird universe crossovers well.

I genuinely hope that G.I. Joe isn't rebooted for this universe. Keep Rise of Cobra and Retaliation as canon.

MASK is freaking awesome, I'm pretty excited about that. Pink Ranger knows.

I'd strongly prefer GI Joe to get a reboot. Rom and Micronauts are too strongly tied to 80's Marvel for me to feel much excitement for those. Never heard of Visionaries.

Took place on a planet where technology failed and they had to use magic to survive, which included using it to power their machines. The characters had a holgram of an animal on their armor that they could also turn into.

Call me crazy, but I'd rather they'd reboot it and hand it over to Platinum Dunes/Bay.

They'd be perfect for G.I. Joe.

Good luck with that, Hasbro.
Seriously. In theory, I'm on board with this, but I see no way they can actually make this work onscreen.

I mean, they are even waffling on GI Joe since Retaliation. No movement on that since.

I mean how are you going to get these characters to interact anyway? Visionaries and GI Joe and Micronauts together They don't really mesh well at all.

I would love it.

Transformers, G.I. Joe and M.A.S.K. can crossover easily.

With the possibility of these, He-Man and Dino-Riders, I'm happy.

We just need Thundercats, Brave Starr, C.O.P.S., Galaxy Rangers, Jayce & The Wheeled Warriors, Centurions and Pole Position. 80's cartoons rule. :woot:

It's hard for me to get happy without seeing results. I just have trouble seeing this.

I mean, Visionaries was never even that popular in the 1980s.

How are they going to pull off a movie for Visionaries? I just can't see a movie like that making like half a billion dollars.

Visionaries was mad popular here in the UK in the 80's. Every kid loved it. Personally I think it's perfect movie material.

Outside of G.I. Joe and TF, I haven't heard of these properties, nor do I care (I was a young child in only half of the 80s). They don't seem enticing to me, nor does this "universe".

I would see a GI Joe/Transformers crossover movie 6 or 7 times in the theater. lol

Useless fact of the day: Micronauts is actually a spinoff product of GI Joe.

And Visionaries as a property can just go sit by itself at the kids table for all I care.
