I may check this out tonight, Poehler does tend to crack me up, plus it's set in my state, which is rare in itself on tv shows. Should be a couple laughs at the most.

Not really feeing it so far. Poehler is playing a female Michael Scott which is all fine and good but the only problem thus far is that none of the characters around her are nearly as endearing as the crew on The Office. Michael works because of those around him. Without a strong supporting cast, this will fail.

my god, it's like a carbon copy of the office. not really feeling new.

It is. The brown haired guy who slept with Leslie is even a poor man's Dwight. This show is The Office is the Temp were a college aged girl, Michael and Dwight slept together, and Jim were Rashida Jones.

and aziz is pam

I'll give it another chance as I like Poehler and Jones, and I just got a laugh out of the guy who wants to privatize the parks committee. Plus The Office started off really slow. I'll watch and see where it goes.

yeah, The Office didn't really take off for me until season 2 started

Yeah, definitely not feeling it.

Office 2.0 with Poehler speaking Carell's discard lines.

Its better than Kath and Kim. The Office and 30 Rock took about 7 episodes to find their groove.

I'll give it a few episodes before I make my final judgement

Like The Office, I'll give this until early season 2 before I make a ruling.

Im not feeling this either. Im not really liking the concept behind the show. The only part I laughed at was when Leslie fell.

Ya I want to like this show and have lots of laughs with it so I hope the episodes get much better. Ofcourse I dont watch the Office (dont hate me...please) so I wouldnt know about carbon copy charecters though I have heard about them doing it with these new ones from other people.

Not much of a supporting cast, that's correct, but I like Aziz. He's not a Pam clone, because he actually goes out of his way to sabotage his boss and enjoys seeing her fail, which I think may be hilarious if taken to other lengths in future episodes.

I thought it was pretty funny. I don't know why everyone's so upset that it's almost identical to The Office. We all knew it would be going in. But I found Poehler's character kind of sweet and endearing in spite of her incompetence, and Aziz Ansari is always awesome. It wasn't the greatest pilot ever, but what pilot is ever really that great? I'm gonna stick with it for the foreseeable future.

No, we knew it would be the same format as The Office. Not a character by character clone. Though I agree there is room for improvement and it could grow as long as the characters are given the opportunity to come into their own and become unique.

I also agree that I'm iffy on the basis for the show. I get that The Office is about a paper company and that doesn't sound interesting at all, but the parks department just sounds like a joke that's hard to relate to.

Poehler was good with what she had to work with, and I'll watch it and do think it will pick up. Pilots/first episodes are always the strangest things when you look back on it. They haven't found the voice of the show yet, which should come by the second season.

I kind of just wish Amy joined 30 Rock instead.

Meh, 30 Rock took about half a season to find its legs. If P&R takes that long, so be it. I think there's a lot of potential in it.

I also don't see any relation between Tom and Pam or Mark and Dwight of all people.

I laughed a few times in this episode so far. that perv neighbor was pretty funny.

"This is gonna be a train wreck"

Unfortunetly thats how this show is feeling

I didn't think this episode was as bad. I laughed a few times. I just wish the characters were their own instead of rip-offs from The Office.
