oh i loved the movie so much! there was so many times where i got emotional. i tear'd up a little bit at times.
i loved the scene with Superman and Lois go for a fly at night. and the love theme music played. i love that song. it was revamp'd tho, so it kinda dragged on for awhile before we really got to hear the real heart of it, which we did right when they were coming back to the Daily Planet. and it was just awesome.

and i wanted them to kiss. but they couldn't. darn.

and then the next scene was funny right after that, when Lois came back inside and Clark was there eating a burrito!!

lol oh, so great!
i also got emotional a lot near the last 20 minutes or so. so many sequences. when Superman was getting his ass-kick'd by Luthor and his thugs. i felt sad. and when Superman fell into the water and Jor-El's voice started speaking. and then Lois was like "we have to go back!" just like Leia said to Lando to save a wounded Luke. (i love Empire Strikes Back)
and Jason was like "he's down there." "are you sure?". "yeah.".
and then Lois and Richard dive in to save Superman.
and then Lois yanks the kryptonite out of him.

hehe
and then i absolutely loved when Superman left the plane and flew up to the sun and recharged his powers. it was so beautiful! a great great scene.
and then when Lois and Jason visit Superman at the hospital. that whole sequence was touching. i love it.
and ofcourse the end, where Superman gives the Jor-El speech to Jason. beautiful.
"i'm always around."
but in general, the whole movie itself made me emotional, becuz it's been so long since we've really seen a great Superman movie. and to finally have Superman back into our lives with this movie was so wonderful. it brought back memories of when i was a little kid loving the Christopher Reeve movies, wishing i was Superman. and this movie Superman Returns was such a great homage to those old movies that we all grew up with. and Brandon Routh did such a great job of tapping into that Christopher Reeve nostalgia. and i love Christopher Reeve. Christopher will always be Superman, and it feels like he's still with us in this movie.
thank you Brandon Routh and Bryan Singer. for keeping Christopher Reeve's Superman alive.
