Karl Urban is definitely someone I'd like to see play Thor.

Most of the reviews I've read have a very dubious attitude towards the movie. Comparing it to 300 and Apocalypto, etc, is not a good way to start. Maybe it's because the subject matters aren't well known that the critics don't know how to juggle the silent facts and the bloody fantasy. Their film comparisons are superficial, which is noteworthy since what fans loved about 300 is superficial.

Everybody knew this film wouldn't make much, when you push a movie back 3 times then it normally bombs.

Personally I enjoyed the movie, it's a good action flick.

Yeah, it was originally scheduled to hit in Sept, then it was pushed back until January and then the final release date was this past weekend.

So... its was probably screwed no mater what at the boxoffice.

I actually like this unrated cover. Looks good on the eyes, attention getting. A commentary track, 5 part behind the scenes, 2 other behind the scenes, and trailers is more than I thought the dvd would get.

I might pick the movie up...even though the film was barely worth my time and money, there's a reason why I might pick it up.

Ouch. My interest in this film just went out the window. It's a shame, because I'm of Norse descent, and I was hoping for a good Viking flick. Looks like I'll have to wait a bit longer.
