I've been looking forward to this movie for a long time. It's too bad it's been shelved for so long.

Karl Urban is definitely someone I'd like to see play Thor.

Not great numbers:dry:

Boy, I've read a lot of mixed reviews on this film. The majority of them seem to be that it's "OK". Maybe I'll check out a matinee of it or something.

Most of the reviews I've read have a very dubious attitude towards the movie. Comparing it to 300 and Apocalypto, etc, is not a good way to start. Maybe it's because the subject matters aren't well known that the critics don't know how to juggle the silent facts and the bloody fantasy. Their film comparisons are superficial, which is noteworthy since what fans loved about 300 is superficial.

This movie has been doing quite the suckage.

Sucky numbers and sucky reception

Everybody knew this film wouldn't make much, when you push a movie back 3 times then it normally bombs.

Personally I enjoyed the movie, it's a good action flick.

I had no idea it was pushed back or anything

Yeah, it was originally scheduled to hit in Sept, then it was pushed back until January and then the final release date was this past weekend.

So... its was probably screwed no mater what at the boxoffice.

An unrated cut? What? They had scenes much worse than the scalping, bludgeoning, torture & slashing? :wow:

It's now got a "Legend of the Ghost warrior" subtitle
