I'd rather the match is on a smaller PPV with a greater chance of being in the main event spot it deserves, rather than being at Summerslam and at risk of playing second fiddle to Brock Lesnar VS HHH or whatever.

And yeah, that was an awesome article. Really got me excited about this upcoming match. I hope the two put on a classic.

then at least MITB.

If the lesser PPVs have at least one GOOD match, then I'm sure that was the idea of having Punk/Bryan for OTL.

Fast and Furious 6 starts shooting next month....in other words, there is no way that the Rock will be at Summerslam.

I don't know. I heard even with shooting FaF6, there is still rumblings that Rock will still show up on WWE TV by July-August.

Meh, I suspect all of Rock's filming could be done in 4 days. The rest of the movie is going to be cars and Tanoa'i Reed being thrown off buildings.

Im guessing the plans for the draft have been scrapped. I mean whats the point? Bryan was chasing the world title now hes in contention for the wwe title. End the brand split once and for all. Anyone can appear on either show.

They only reason they stopped the draft is because Smackdown shows weren't selling enough tickets. Although Triple H declared there would be 'supershows' from now on there really hasn't been much change. It's kind of nonsensical .

I don't think he's needed. We probably won't even see him until next year.

Roddy Piper, Keith David and Meg Foster discuss John Carpeneter's"They Live"

I love Piper. The guys just so entertaining. So is Keith David. I wish Foster said more in this clip. She was great in They Live and Masters of The Universe.

Now I want to watch the movie. It's interesting Roddy hasn't done more films. I guess at the time the backlash must of scared him away.

After Hell Comes To Frogtown, I guess he felt there were no more stories left to tell.

Hunico vs Kidd be should good.

I wish they'd start pushing Kidd, put him in AW or Vickie's stable.

"Amazing seeing @WWEusos ... remember, I haven't been around for half a decade ... The last time I saw these two, they were little kids doing splashes off the top rope in the Omni before the show when I managed their Dad. Yes, that makes me old, but I recognize TALENT. @WWEusos are talented. Time for these young Samoans to eat up the competition!"

Interesting that he singles them out, it would be cool if he managed them and built a new Dangerous Alliance around Brock.

- There was a ton of discussion within WWE about Triple H accompanying Floyd Mayweather to the ring last weekend in Las Vegas. Most of the talk came from the fact that CM Punk wasn't allowed to accompany UFC fighter Chael Sonnen to the octagon a few months ago in Chicago.

Part of the reason why Punk wasn't allowed to work the UFC show was because they felt nobody would acknowledge Punk as a cornerman and it would hurt Punk's perceived star power. Triple H accompanied Mayweather to the ring and outside of wrestling sites and WWE's own website, he didn't get much mainstream attention at all.

I noticed this double standard as well, Trips looked so awkward next to Bieber and all the guys dressed like they were in a hip hop video. :funny:

- While Randy Orton vs. Brock Lesnar was discussed for the SummerSlam pay-per-view at one point, WWE officials quickly moved on and started working on the Lesnar vs. Triple H program.

The story of Orton's career.

Now why the heck haven't they portrayed this on television!

Exactly what I was thinking. Put this into a video package for Raw and it will build iunterest beyond the general title match.

- Vince McMahon is considering a second "Stand Up For WWE Campaign." The consideration is spurred by Linda McMahon running for Senate again this year, and Vince expects WWE to receive a lot of negative media attention because of it.

Vince has also reportedly told people that the company is going to be more aggressive about the negative portrayal of the company by "the liberal media" once the Senate race heats up. The company is expected to be very outspoken if Linda doesn't perform well in the campaign.

:funny: I had no idea such an absurdly awesome flick existed until now.

Do you guys find it odd that Goldust's release wasn't posted on wwe.com

Also that article on Punk and Bryan was good

was hoping we'd see brock/triple h at summerslam which is likely, but if you added rock to that ppv. That could be huge. How awesome would a rock/punk match be?

Seriously, screw Linda. She will get owned again and more of the company's time amd resources will be wasted.

So is Joe Lieberman not running again? Is that why she's running again?

MMA STAR KING MO TO SIGN WITH BOTH TNA AND BELLATOR IN HISTORIC DEAL
by David Tees @ 8:37 AM on 5/10/2012

Former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Mohammed “King Mo” Lawal is expected to sign with both Bellator Fighting Championships and TNA Wrestling in the near future. King Mo is currently serving a nine month suspension from the NSAC and it dealing with health issues related to a previous knee surgery. One could safely assume that when he debuts with Bellator, he will remain a light heavyweight and compete in the light heavyweight tournament. The current and thus far only Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion is Christian M’ Pumbu, who won the inaugural tournament over a year ago.

As far as his potential TNA duties go, current rumors suggest that King Mo would compete in the squared circle when not competing in Bellator. Bellator usually runs two different twelve week “seasons” each year, which would leave King Mo plenty of time to capture TNA gold. Current TNA title holders include Bobby Roode (TNA World Champion), Austin Aries (TNA X Division Champion), Magnus & Samoa Joe (TNA Tag Team Champions), Devon (TNA TV Champion), Gail Kim (TNA Knockouts Champion) and Eric Young & ODB (TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions). No word yet on when King Mo would debut in either promotion, which would be based on his health situation and the nine month suspension.
