I don't know. Bryan winning the title at WrestleMania twice in a row would be a little "been there done that".

I can understand that, but:

1) Bryan (should he make it back) will have gone through so much **** since that Mania win that I think he more than deserves it.

2) The idea of a match between him and a top heel champ Lesnar is too good to pass up IMO. That could be a classic like Punk vs. Lesnar.

3) It's a better option than Reigns vs. Lesnar IMO, as I really don't think having Reigns win it all at Mania is a good idea in the long run. Haitch is obviously looking out for the future, and that's great, but it's not the right time for Reigns.

Sucks that Ambrose will be off TV for a while but on the plus side I'm actually looking forward to a WWE Studios project.

Dean Ambrose stars in The Chaperone 2?

He plays the kid.

Neville took that DDT like The Rock taking a Stunner.

Seems to me like Vince is starting to become, if he hasn't already, a real life Pierce Hawthorne.

They can step on my star anytime.

just finish watching impact amaing seeing the hardys and dudleys for one more time brought back a lot of memories

He doesn't seem to be as close with his father as he is with the two ladies in his life:

Although Triple H and Vince McMahon are alike in many ways, their philosophy in wrestling greatly differs.

With Triple H gearing up to take over WWE one day, he wants to go ahead and put his stamp on the product with "his guys" and presenting it in a more serious manner with more focus on wrestling - Triple H was very much against Stephanie McMahon vomiting on Vickie Guerrero and El Torito having his tail ripped off. Vince on the other hand prefers to keep things as they have always been with his brand of campy entertainment and featuring wrestlers who aren't around regularly in the very top roles. So it should come as no surprise that the two executives are butting heads over the main event of next year's WrestleMania in Santa Clara, California.

For WrestleMania 31, Vince wants to continue relying on past stars whereas Triple H wants to focus on the future. It is said that Vince has his heart set on bringing The Rock back for WrestleMania and having him face Brock Lesnar, who may be WWE World Heavyweight Champion at that point. Triple H, however, wants Lesnar to take on Roman Reigns, which would likely culminate with Reigns being crowned the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, as well as their new young golden boy. Vince, who doesn't take to newer guys so easily, is still a bit gun-shy on making Reigns "the guy."

As has been reported, Vince is still "in charge" of how WWE is run, even if you would assume his influence is decreasing as Triple H takes over. This odd power-sharing situation is causing increasing confusion, with certain wrestlers being pushed, then falling down the card suddenly. Some of these frustrating 'Start-and-Stop' pushes can be attributed to Triple H and Vince's differing views on wrestlers.

Dave Meltzer recently mentioned in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that many people in WWE aren't sure who is supposed to have the final word: "It's been noted to us what an impossible position Paul Levesque has been put in when it comes to talent relations, because Vince McMahon is still the guy making all the final calls, and he changes his mind frequently. It's become a big frustration of talent that they are told a certain direction by Levesque, and then Levesque is put in the position of having to get with the talent again and explain that what he told them before isn't happening."

I'm sorry, but Vince needs to go.

Unfortunately, control of the WWE will have to be pried from his cold, dead hands.

From what I've read, dude lives and breathes the company and mico-manages everything. He barely sleeps, if at all.

Sidenote, another great sell:

If that happened, the vast majority would express their condolences, but on the inside be relieved.

It's the truth.

I feel like a bad person for secretly hoping he would go away. I love Vince for the years of entertainment he has given us, but he is holding the product back now...

TNA Impact is moving to Wednesdays:

From http://www.411mania.com/wrestling/n...act-Wrestling-Moving-To-Wednesday-Nights.htm:

ORIGINAL: TNA has announced that Impact Wrestling will be moving to Wednesday nights starting on August 20th. The show will air at 9PM ET. The move comes as rumors swirl that WWE Smackdown will be moving to Thursday nights, putting Impact in a tough spot of having to compete with Smackdown. Seems as if they have made a proactive move to avoid going head-to-head with WWE.

The show, of course, is in the middle of negotiations with Spike TV. The good news on this is that the show will no longer be up against the NFL pre-season games or any during the season, should Impact be renewed. Of course, day switches always take a short time for audiences to readjust, so some early drops may occur.

Here is TNA's announcement:

IMPACT WRESTLING MOVING TO WEDNESDAY NIGHTS AT 9/8C ON SPIKE TV BEGINNING NEXT WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Aug. 14, 2014) – TNA today announced its flagship program, IMPACT WRESTLING, will make a permanent move to Wednesday nights at 9/8c on SPIKE TV beginning next Wednesday, Aug. 20.

"Moving IMPACT WRESTLING to Wednesday nights gives existing fans and new viewers an opportunity to enjoy both wrestling and live sports even more throughout the week," said TNA President Dixie Carter.

IMPACT WRESTLING has enjoyed sustained ratings growth this summer, drawing over 1.5 million viewers each week this quarter, and is among the most watched cable series in key male demos in its timeslot.

UPDATED: PWInsider reports that "one of the reasons" for the move absolutely has to with the additional competition on Thursdays, which is becoming a popular night for TV again.

It's a fair point; in addition to the NFL games on CBS, Thursdays will feature The Blacklist on NBC starting in February and FOX's anticipated Gracepoint starting in October, all of which are expected to draw from the same demographic as Impact relies on.

Smart move for TNA as there isn't much competition for them on Wednesday nights. I don't blame them for ducking the NFL.

Tonight's Impact was in a tough position to follow last week's that had Dixie Carter going through the table.

I wonder if Shane never left the company, whether Vince would have already retired by now. Maybe he doesn't want to let go because this wasn't the succession plan he had in mind for most of his life.

I'm guessing NXT bosses might finally take a hint that no one likes Mojo Rawley as much as they do after Bull Dempsey beat him down and got a 'thank you Bull' chant for it.

How long until WWE pair Emma and Buddy Murphy up with some horrible Australian stereotype characters?

Tokyo Sports reports that following his G1 CLIMAX 24 victory, New Japan star Kauzchika Okada announced the establishment of the “Rainmaker Fund”, which will contribute 30,000 yen (around $300 US) to a local charity that works towards prevention of cancer in children every time Okada wins a match using his signature Rainmaker finishing move. Apparently it’s retroactive to the start of the year, and since he has won 26 matches using the move that’s an initial contribution of 780,000 yen. Cool. He can afford it easily, that still leaves him some 9.2 million yen from his G1 prize.

So there's talk from the Observer that the ROH World Title might be defended at the Tokyo Dome. Presuming Elgin is still champ by then, Elgin vs. Goto or Shibata please. Hell, even Honma, Naito, or Kojima would make for some interesting match ups.

From PWMania.com

- WWE officials reportedly have “given up” on the push for Bo Dallas, which explains why his winning streak was ended by R-Truth a few weeks back. We’ve noted before that Bo was one of the gimmicks that Vince McMahon had lost interest in.

The shows I went to the crowd is entertained with him. I've seen a good amount of "Bolieve" shirts at shows. He gets a response. Baffling.

Bo has generally been one of my favorite parts of Raw every week (when he was on).

Bo Dallas is an actual entertaining comedic heel. I've laughed more times at Bo's antics than I ever did at Santino's escapades.

If the WWE doesn't like comedic characters (Bo Dallas, Adam Rose) why even launch them in the first place?
