Got this idea from Erzengel's comment in the POTC thread. You ever notice that people get up and leave as soon as the main hero bests the villain in a movie? They don't want for the aftermath, don't wait for any epilogue or romantic dialogue between the hero and their love interest, just as soon as the villain is defeated or taken down a peg, bam...they're heading for the door. I saw it when I went to see Spider-Man, and several other movies where you knew the villain was done for, but the movie wasn't completely over yet. That bugs me. :cmad:

I've seen people leaving in the middle of the movie, and just right before the credits roll but never anything like that.

I don't get it why most of the people almost run for the door when there has been the first second of the black screen of the end credits. "Black! Black! Needles in my eyes!"

Ive seen them leave once the final duel is over as well. i find it pointless and ******ed just because they don't want to walk out with a crowd of people.

I find it pointless for people to walk out if they think a film sucks as well. waste of money

i saw a bunch of people leave after the end of Planet Terror in the Grindhouse movie. this happened BOTH times i saw it :whatever: .

Same here. They were idiots.

I walked out of "Shark Tale", but can you blame me? That movie sucked more than Paris Hilton on a tequila binge in Cancun.

...it's their money. Not everyone feels they have to see the entire movie.

And if a movie sucks...some people may not want to see the rest of it. Pathfinder...was a battle for me. It was barely worth my time and the five bucks. (Which is a 5/10 score...a D+ imo). The only movie I walked out of *several* times was Elektra...and my bro kept bugging me while I was watching it. Can't watch a movie when someone is annoying me several times.

I walked out on the re-release of Star Wars a few years back within the first 10 minutes of it, I said to myself...What am I doin? Got up and walked out, only time I walked out of a movie...fallin asleep during Interview with a Vampire though.

You know I have never seen that really, I have seen people go just at the end, before the credits but not after the hero wins.

I've left early in movies alot of times. Last movie I walked out in middle of was Pathfinder, just so F'n boring might be better on dvd....
There are times when I don't feel like a movie, but I go anyways, then halfway thru I get jittery and just leave..
Besides Pathfinder I haven't walked out of a movie in a long time(solaris was last one I think). Though I've come close in recent days(Next onlything keeping me was Jessica Bale, and your gonna crap: but Spider-Man 3 I had a 'slight' urge to leave; that was Peters turn to the 'dark side', the freakin' stupid, idiototic, made no sence,WTF moments of him doing his jigalow(sp) routine, and his 'stayin alive' dance..)
I just cant think of most of the movies I've walked out on. Someone said it was a waste of money maybe, but I tend to lean towards the movie wasted my time by being utter crap.

Yeah,I don't get it.
It can sometimes take you out of the moment when you see out of the corner of your eye a mass of people bee lining to the door way early.

I've seen plenty movies I wanted to haul ass out of,have gone to so many when dating guys that aren't very creative and/or weak. :csad:

I've never left early during a movie...even Catwoman :o

You walked out of Star Wars?!

People walk out before the end? Sure it happened in Open water, but generally I haven't seen it.

I wish I walked out of star wars ROTS :(

Heh, the only one I can remember walking out on is THE PHANTOM MENACE...somewhere around the time when all the underwater puppets were swallowing each other...or maybe Jar Jar was talking.

I dont understand why anyone would SEE Open Water in the first damn place..."2 people float around the ocean for an hour and a half while being scared of sharks"...yeah....Phone Booth In The Ocean :o

It's one of my all time worst movies that I hate!:woot:

Yup, I thought it'd be cool to see Star Wars on the big screen, but I'm not a star wars fan and after Darth Vader came out and started talking, I thought. "this is boring" and left. Sat through all the Lord Of The Rings though, those were great!

I've fallen asleep in the cinema, but never walked out.
It was some animated pigeon movie...it was pretty poor.

I've only walked out of one movie. And that was Water World.

I know what the original poster is talking about though. I was watching Spiderman 3 and a mom and her two kids left right after the end fight.

I wish I walked out of LOTR, or rented them, I hated those films.

Some people walk out of movies because they saw the movie already and the best parts of the movie are over.

The only movie I was tempted to walk out of was ROTK. After the climax there are 5 slowly paced, tedious endings. By ending number 3 quite a few people said "screw this" and left. It was around the time the hobbits started jumping around on the bed giggling like schoolgirls.

I have never left a movie early but I have fallen asleep through a few of them & it takes a whole lot to get me to fall asleep through a movie
