it's one of my favourites BTAS and I was wondered what if Bruce's parents were alive and what Bruce do if he wasn't Batman. Timm & Co explains this very well.

Great episode.

Although, his mother said very little. All she said was "Bruce".

Trial was awesome. Judge Joker and Two Face as the prosecutor.

Greatness.

BTAS is the one interpretation outside the comics that got it all right, outlandish villains that cant be done in Nolans world batman is actually smart also absent from Nolans world and batman has all his atheletic abilitys which neither burton nor nolan got right.

I consider TAS as the standard setter really. Its above the comics in my estimation.

No not above the comics (very few superhero movies are better then the comic source) but still brilliant.

As I've said before, comics are cool, but cinema at it's finest is by far the best. The comics have for example The Killing Joke, Dark Knight Returns, Long Halloween. TAS has Penchant to Dream, Heart of Ice, Laughing Fish, etc. As much as I love these episodes and comic, films have potential to be 10x greater. It's just that rarely any comic book movies utilize this potential. The movies could be above the comics if they were done correctly.
