Found this on YouTube and, I dunno if you've seen it, but I certainly didn't know it was out there. It's got a good logo, but I think it's just from the first game...it appears to be titled the title of the first game. Halo: Combat Evolved.

Yep, Weta is doing the effects. Jackson isn't doing Halo...it's like Spielberg producing Transformers, that's all Peter's doing. With something like Halo I would be in Peter's position. I don't wanna **** it up for the fans lol

Watch it, it just basically says what we already know; that Peter's producing it, Weta's doing the effects and such. It's gonna be a kick-ass film, but it might have been moved to 2008...

I think Gore Verbinski or Sam Raimi would be good choices. Honestly could you imagine a Halo film Produced and written by Peter and Fran. Directed by Gore Verbinski . That would be a great Halo movie.

this movie is in development hell, it was supposed to come out next year, but the script they had that was pretty good was thrown out, and no director is in place and no actors....

That smeels like Development Hell to me..

I'll tell you why. Because every time Bungie sends its representatives over to New Zealand to discuss the film, they always end up wasting time on Halo 2 Live.

No. It would be a overly melodramatic movie with useless sideplots and gawdy cinematography. PJ is overrated IMO. He does have a fantastic effects house, though.
