I don't think so.

Spider-Man: PG-13 for stylized violence and action
Spider-Man 2: PG-13 for stylized action violence
Spider-Man 3: PG-13 for sequences of intense action violence

It's official guys. It's PG

Also some of you should really think about your 1st experience watching Donner's Superman 1 & 2 widely regarded as the best comic book films ever. both easily within the realms of PG

1. I wanna wait to see "PG" on the official movie site to believe it.

2. Something's telling me that the movie should be rated PG-13 but they put it down JUST to make more money. I have a feeling that parents will get super pissed because of the PG-13 material that's really in it. Think of it as a cover up for the real stuff behind it. I'd laugh if it happens too lol.

Spider-Man 1 and 2 I was sure about.

And that is the same. 3 is the only different one. Unless "and" counts as "more violence", than Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 have the same rating.

Honestly, I couldn't care less.

However, I don't think it is official until it is on the official site or confirmed by FOX.

Less than 2 weeks away, and still no official rating. And tickets are already on sale (at least in NY they are). That's weird.

Our paper has it listed as "PG-13" and we have a midnight showing for it.

Which is rare for a PG movie to have a midnight showing here.

and it does count.:woot: VERY similar but not the exact same quote.:cwink: Peace?

No. If a film is rated PG-13, their is nothing Fox can do about it. It is beyond their control.

I think they can try to convince them to lower it (at least, Spielberg does it all the time).

Peace? Like an end to a fight?

Just to let you know, this isn't a fight. This is just fanboy nerdy crap that fans do. Fighting would involve insults and really pissy remarks. I have no hate or anything at you. It's just a nerd fight.;)

And dammit, Spidey and Spidey 2 have the same rating contents. Just because they left "and" out in one doesn't mean it's any different.:cmad:

I'm pretty sure movies can have the same ratings by the way.

well what do ya know. Harry Potter 4 and 5 have PG-13 ratings for the EXACT same reasons, word for word. But still, on the other hand, I think you, I, and everyone else can say that ROTSS didn't have an offical rating in December.

and a 2-hour running time. I wish THAT was official. This is the first time I've been hoping for an extended edition of a movie before the theatrical version's been released.

The script, direction, acting, etc. will speak for itself, not a slightly different rating.

I guess I must be an oddball, because I went to R-rated movies when I was four all the time. I have no issues letting children watch those movies, but since I am not the parent of my neice, cousins, etc. I respect the parent's wishes. I would have no problems with my kids watching R-rated stuff, I mean I turned out semi-sane.

Hahahahahh

Ummm..... you do know that semi-sane is also semi-insane right?

And ummmmm.. what do you think caused this mild (semi) insanity.

Oh what could it possibly be.

Just saying.:cwink:

Probably my parents. They are nuts!

They ALL have been worded a bit differently.

I think the U rating means no rating, or it was "Unrated" by the MPAA.

Which begs the question, can movies be released unrated?

I think they can be released unrated, but they suffer somehow in advertising abilities.

I don't remember exactly how it works.

^^ Yeah I thought I had heard of unrated movies at like small indie theatres.

Probably international fare that just bypasses the Ratings system.

Yeah, don't some movies release unrated DVD's....????

No, it's environmental, thats why most teacher's are insane.......*smiles*
