That was within the "white hot room" I believe, where all those who can and/or have held the Phoenix Force can communicate and such, and yes, that was Quentin.

Yeah, it's 616. It's a continuation from the last panel of Endsong, thus being a story about the Stepford Cuckoos.

The more and more I hear about this story in the solicitions that follow the first issue, it sounds like it's gonna be rather lackluster and lame compared to Endsong.

i would be pretty upset if a book bearing "Phoenix" in the title turned out to be something not so phoenix-y. maybe the cuckoos were around in sinister's lab when he had madelyne pryor lying dormant and the phoenix force found her, and then something was left behind in them....it's a stretch
