The art is a major turnoff for me and the story doesn't sound as good as Endsong was. I might get the TPB

I agree. I'm not digging this art so much. It would be better if Silvestri penciled the inside too instead of one of his knockoffs/proteges.

I don't really dislike that cover, but it's not on par with Land's work and I'd have loved to see this mini drawn by him

exactly, endsong established that jean and phoenix are forever one entity... but the sequel doesnt follow that logic

i have been thinking... every writer has been asked about jeans return and they all give the same answer and state how cool emma is, perhaps something is brewing, maybe warsong will bring jean back for good

You both got good points, if they are going to do this, what was the point of Endsong and I don't like other people being Phoenix it really annoys me.

But like Spark said maybe they are going to bring Jean back for good or for while or maybe they are but they are not saying that.

No just like the cuckoos might just use the phoenix power and its going to be about them all the way though and no Jean at all and maybe Emma gets Phoenix again.

Phoenix without Jean is stuipd as Jena = Phoenix as Endsong kind of said.

Like you know when she got Phoenix out of Emma i hope she rips it out of the cuckoos.
