also, contributing to the actual topic of this thread... i think iceman looks great, and i think he will loook even better, and calm everyone down a little bit when we get a hi-res picture of him. i LOVE the picture of bald iceman ^ but it wouldn't work because, where does his hair go? and where do his clothes go? soooo basically i think we got a perfect iceman.

Yep, thanks Spidey! Did Iceman actually look that blue and icey on your tv or did your camera alter the image? I really hope he looked like that and not like he does in the tv spot. ie. hope he looks blue and icey instead of white and frosty/snowy! You haven't got your tv's brightness settings too dark or anything have you?

He actually looked that blue and icey. That pic doesn't do him justice though, there was steam coming off him. It looked really cool in motion. My settings are all good by the way.

well your not suppost to see through his arm at all. he only turned him into ice not his clothes. personally i love the effect that they did, making the clothes look frosted like theyve been in the freezer or something. from what ive seen it looks dead on to me. but thats just my 2 cents

I love the fact he's a weird lookin' mutant type ice, versus looking like a normal ice sculputre. it still looks like Iceman, yet it's visibly his mutation, so it shouldn't look 'normal'. As well, I glad he isn't bald, either.

So....

1) How do you explain the light shining through his left arm?
2) How do you explain the dark torso line extending through his left arm?

If you can come up with a perfectly good explanation for these two occurances, I'll consider it. Otherwise, his arm looks pretty transparent to me.

That looks like an unfinished Human Torch pic too, I'd say the iced up FX aren't fully finished yet.

I was one of the few that was worried that Bobby icing up might look bad, but I really like it. I don't really care if it looks like ice or not, as long as it's good quality. So I dig it.
