Gun.jpg

"This is a prototype weapon used by the Punisher in the final battle of the movie. It is a Smith and Wesson model 500 .50 magnum that was converted by Knight's Armament Co, by request from Jon Barton and Monty Hom to give the Punisher the most unique hand cannon ever seen! "

The skull on it...? Really? Kinda cheesy. But it's a cool gun and by the look of it, a gun with a punch.

i second that.

it has the skull from the punisher '04. the skull from the first image of ray as frank is not the '04 skull. so hopefully its a fan made gun or a fake.

Notice the skull on the casing too. I like this. You guys are too freaking nitpicky. Do you think the movie is gonna have the camera zoomed in on the skull on the side of the gun for 2 hours? Hell fans complained about not enough skulls in the last two films.

Cool, I don't know much about guns though. But now judging from this it looks like he will be wearing the same Skull shirt as Tom Jane and not a new design.

I like the gun and the skull on it. If Bryan Singer can put X's everywhere in the X-Men films, I have no problem with skulls emblazoned on every bit of tech the Punisher uses.

Looks cool, I like the skull on it, can't wait to see big Ray use it in the film.

So you have doubts because a picture of a gun that was laid out for display. LOL That's sad.

No, I have doubts that it's his legit gun that he'll be using in the movie. With the tone they seem to be using, that really doesn't make any sense at all for him to be using a gun with the friggin skull on it. Especially the movie skull from 04.

Why the hell would he put it on the shell casings??? That's beyond stupid. Is The Punisher an egomaniac in this film?

Hence: doubts.

I like the gun by all means but i doubt that Lexi will Have Ray wear the same skull being that its a brand new installment. Why would she allow Ray to wear that skull when she said the 04 movie wasn't relevant to them.

Looks good,Wonder what other weapons besides the usual he will have in this one

I guess its something microchip invents for him..

Damn cool.

I thinks it's stupid. Why are there skulls on the gun? Is there a reason for it? If not, then why have it? If they don't focus on it, okay- Fine.
Well, the 1989 movie had one skull... On a knife. 2004 used it wisely... Well except the car park scene :oldrazz:

Why? Because the guy is obsessed with striking fear in criminals before killing them. Same as it's described to Wayne in Batman Begins. It reminds him at the same time of his family's murder. That's the whole damn point have you ever read the comics.

So the folks at Gunmetal are lying? LOL

I'm not sure if that's legit or not, but even if it isn't, it still looks wicked awesome.

agreed, I don't get why people are having a problem with this? It's like all the X's in X-Men & Bats symbols in Batman.

Having a few skulls on his guns that Mircochip more than likely made for him is no reason to start a panic.

Tit, the only thing that has the bat symbol in BB except the suit is the batarang, a "weapon"... and the skull on the chest is there to "strike fear", do you really think in the panic and confusion that anyone is going to notice a small skull, on the side of the gun?
And yes I've read a couple of the comics, yea.
And X-men thing, that's pretty close to the comic I've read There's X'es all over the place.

WIZARD interview with Ray Stevenson on Punisher Warzone:
http://www.wizarduniverse.com/magazine/wizard/006621923.cfm

“We’ve got a very, very specialized hand cannon—possibly the meanest piece of weaponry I’ve ever seen,” smiles Stevenson. “It’s a Smith & Wesson .50-caliber handgun. Forget your .44 Magnum, this will stop a tank.” Through working and training with members of the Marine Corps, Stevenson cites the military as being instrumental in designing new weapons for the film."

I don't think that's a shell casing, looks too big to fit in that gun. If it is, could be that they ordered it to be a bit bigger so it looks good on camera. Haha I like how it says KNIGHT on it while we have Wayne Knight playing microchip, that's a cute touch

Well, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I have no quams admitting when I'm wrong.

But I really hope those stupid skulls aren't on the gun he uses in the film. The Punisher isn't Batman. He's not going to spend time putting little skulls on all of his weapons, especially the shell casings (if, indeed, that is a shell casing...I agree it looks way too big).

If Microchip makes it for him, I can see it making sense. But it's still stupid, IMO. You wouldn't see that crap in any MAX comic. Truthfully I don't even see why he'd use a gun like this anyway...it doesn't seem at all practical as a sidearm.

Isn't it the shell of a grenade? I think so.

I agree with you. Besides it's also the skull from the first movie as well. I call bull on this.

Who gives a $hit if it has skulls on it, he's going to be firing it not modeling it! Continue on with the fkn nitpicking, off to the Bat boards.....:brucebat:
