Please Help! My friend is missing!

For what its worth, my friend just up and disappeared for about a week or so, and apparently was just for the hell of it. As far as I know there was no trouble involved. But he was apparently found in another state, so I dont know what's up.

I will certainly pass on the word to the people I know in that area. Im very familiar with the Blossom Hill / Snell area of San Jose, since I lived in San Jose for 24 years. I'll let my fam and friends out that way know.

So far still no updates regarding the surveillance video from Walgreens where he was last seen or any word from police about his bank account activity.

Not to go into a different topic here, but it amazes me, in 2011, in this technological age, that people can just vanish. One statistic I read says that 500,000 people who vanish are never found, per year. And that's out of 10,000,000 who disappear (the rest are found).

So, statistically, BAH HUMBUG, the statistics are in favor of your friend. Out of only a half million who aren't found, 9.5 million are.

Apparently, only days before he went missing, there was someone knew he started seeing. Marques is gay, not that this matters, but he apparently had started talking to a new 'man' who's name is Michael. Beyond that I do not know much of this person, he has 12 Michael's on his facebook, two for sure I know I can clear off of the list. As for the rest I have no idea if any of them are this 'mystery' man or not.

Apparently the 'new guy' Marques had started to talk to is known and his name isn't Michael at all. Apparently he is aware Marques is missing.

So far this seems to be the most accurate description of the details leading up to my friend going missing.

ok i want to share some info marques' friend told me about the night he disappeared.
he had parked his car in a handicap spot at verde apartments, and thus his car was towed (also due to registration being outdated). i believe this happened the day before he went missing, but regardless of the date, he DID NOT have his car availible to him the night he went missing.
on Tuesday he spent the day at our friends house in verde apartments. later tat night i believe around 10ish(maybe a tad before or a tad later?) he told our friend he was going home. he said he was going to go to walgreens and then walk home.
now as far as we know he went to walgreens and was shown buying food and travel supplies. they did not say what supplies these were so its any of our guess as to what it was he bought.
someone on facebook told us he had seen marques at monsters of rock around this time too. we dont know if it was before or after walgreens but it was the same night. he said marques looked fine and was just buying stuff. once again we do not know what stuff he might have bought, if he bought anything at all.
