Nolan actually flat out said it wont be Batman Continues. Quite a while back, a reporter asked him about "Batman Continues" and he basically said "Well, we certainly wont be calling it that" Then he declined to talk about it. But yeah, we wont be getting Batman Continues, it's a lame title.

But Batman isn't the one betraying anyone. The title, if you are going to have some sort of action or description in it, should be about Batman himself, not becaue someone else does it, or just because it sounds cool.

Batman Begins was exactly that, about him starting. Batman Betrayal doesn't do that, along with most of the other titles people think of.

Nolan could call it 'Batman Forever' and I'd go see it in a heartbeat. BB was a masterpiece, I can't believe that after it was made Marvel and Fox have the nerve to hand us over a dump like X3.

i hate when comic book movie sequels get the "2" and "3" after it....like spider-man 2, and x2, superman 2-3...

I like it when they come up with a second title... i really hate it when they give movies the "2" treatment... it just has been done to death...

the batman movies that were made in the 90s were more inventive since they all came up with a second title.

x-men the last stand, batman returns, superman returns, are great examples, and i hope batman begins sequel goes with that as well and gets a second title rather then a cheep freakin "2"... i hate those freakin freakin 2's..... are they to lazy to come up with a cool second name!

No it would be just plain "BATMAN 2" not Begins that 's the name of first movie cos it was the begining.

Maybe it's just me, but i've noticed that the number 2 and 3 and whatever is usually added to the first movie's title. So a Batman 2 would sound like a sequel to B89.
