The Dark Knight please tell me it wont be getting the "Number 2" treatment...

I thought the BATMAN EVOLUTION thing was a joke. Guess nobody else saw it that way.

I hope they don't do the "2" treatment to it but off the top of my head I can't think of any cool verbs to throw after the word "Batman" that would make sense. I mean... c'mon. BATMAN EATS?

I'm never gonna write Batman movies. Not even fan ones.

I still think Batman: The Legend would be much better than just a Batman 2.

Maybe it's just me, but i've noticed that the number 2 and 3 and whatever is usually added to the first movie's title. So a Batman 2 would sound like a sequel to B89.

Not always, look at X-Men. We had "X-Men" followed by "X2: X-Men United" and lastly "X-Men: The Last Stand".

Personally, I hope Batman just turns to Roman Numerals and sticks with it.

I know I would like to see Dark Knight in the title but...do people know that it is one of the other names for him...general public I mean...obviously the Bat has been around for a long time...but with the reinvention of the Batman film franchise...Dark knight returns or Legend of would make it sound kinda corny...not to me but...just think of what the idiots would say walking by the poster for the Dark Knight.

Those titles kinda sucked IMO.

But I also think "Batman Begins" was kind of a weak title.

I'd have done it like this:

2005: BATMAN
2008: BATMAN II
2010: BATMAN III

Batman II. Not only does it reinforce once and for all that this is a new Batman franchise, but its painfully obvious that they've ran out of "Batman [insert something" type titles
