They worry about stuff flying over the casual fan's heads and they are going that route............................................
...is this movie actually trying to use the Wolverine / Deadpool fight as the cause of the Three Mile Island meltdown?
I know that's where this is supposed to take place - are they really going that route?
I love all the speculation, but it makes it so much grander than it will end up being. In a way, all this talk feeds the film like a viral marketing campaign.
Found this too... http://www.geektyrant.com/20
Ugh. If this is all true, well... what more can I say but that it makes me want to vomit? I had a feeling this movie was going to be a disaster ever since I saw the first trailer and it seemed like Wolverine WILLINGLY volunteers to have his skeleton covered in adamantium.
I really do prefer Logan suffering amnesia from the procedure. It makes more sense, and in the X2 flashbacks, you hear voices say "He'll have no memory".
Plus, Stryker's whole "I can make this all go away" speech from the trailers heavily implies the procedure will make his memories go away.
I would prefer Logan to volunteer for the procedure to make his memories all go away (the pain of losing his love, Silver Fox), and starts working for Stryker after the procedure. But certain truths become apparent to Logan, pieces get put back together, and he rebels against Stryker, frees the captive mutants, etc...
And Stryker says he has a "magic bullet" to shoot Logan with. The other scientists point out that it won't kill Logan. Stryker says, "I know, but if I shoot him in the head, it'll erase his memory."
What confused me about Stryker's comment 'I can make this all go away' is why would he follow that up with 'You will get your revenge' if his memory of Silver Fox's murder has been wiped.
I hope when I see the movie this will all make sense in the proper context.
I highly doubt anyone refers to it as "magic".
True Adamantium is as close to completely indestructible as it gets. It's certainly far tougher than say Colossus' organic steel which is NEARLY indestructible.Adamantium was never technically indestructible. Wasn't carbonatium...or whatever Captain America's shield was made out of actually stronger than adamantium?
Carbonadium bullets wouldn't be able to pierce a skull laced with True Adamantium. Carbonadium is a poor man's adamantum and would not put a dent in Wolvy's skull. Neither would an adamantium bullet for that matter. Anti-metal (Antarctic Vibranium) bullets might do the job if a powerful enough gun is used. But try explaining that to non-comic fans.I believe someone said that in an earlier draft the bullet Stryker uses to shoot Wolverine with is made of Carbonadium.
The stuff with Deadpool just sounds bizarre. Really odd.
Here was a chance to take a great character and take him mainstream, but instead we get an "uber" mutant with multiple powers and his mouth sewn shut. Huh? Honestly, what the hell were they thinking?
This has "studio execs" written all over. They realized Deadpool was incredibly popular with the fans, and thought it would be a good idea to make him the "uber bad***" with a bunch of powers. I could maybe get use to that, but then why is his mouth sewn shut? That is like having Wolverine with no claws, or Spider-Man not being able to shoot webbing.
I dare to dream of the day an X-Men movie falls into the hands of Marvel Studios.

I didn't wanna read that much but but I couldn't resist. Now aside from the ending and all the team members gettin picked off, and after readin other spoilers, it all goes pretty much how I expected. One thing that sucks is that Wolvie has to stop Sabertooth from killin Wade? Wade should have stopped Sabertooth from Killin Wade![]()
Then people will ask why he didn't use that on Wolverine instead of adamantium.
