New info?

I didn't know a bit of that, but im glad spidey lashes out at an innocent. It's about friggin time. :D

^ I agree on that. I love the way the symbiote is making peters actions get worse everyday and how that is affecting the people that know him, especially loved ones. I am happy the Q&A was right about sandman living so thats a completley good thing from my point of veiw because his ailing daughter and considering the fact thats he's a sympathetic villian but thats if it is in fact true.

This guy actually sounds legit. It agrees completely with the Q&A and script summary, and there's a little new in there as well, such as [blackout]Sandman's daughter being ill.[/blackout]

I don't know what to think about this. How could the symbiote survive if Eddie Brock dies? They would have to seperate before Brock dies, wouldn't they? Even so, if you were to have Carnage in a movie, it's practically a prerequisite to have a Venom/Carnage brawl... so I don't buy the teaser of the symbiote possibly becoming Carnage in the sequel...

I didn't read all of it, cause I don't wanna completely ruin this movie for myself, but I'm not sure I like Sandman being a "family hero" in this movie.

*Shrugs* I'm getting confused... It says Gwen is in the final battle...But I thought it was confirmed or something that she wasn't at the final battle.

No, that was just speculation. Some people thought MJ took her place since she was never shown in the final battle during the theatrical trailer.

I dont like the Sandman beeing a "family hero" in the movie, either, as you said but it doesnt really bother me. What bothers me is all this talk about Brock dying and the symbiote living.
I think its kinda stupid. They shouldnt kill Brock or they should kill the symbiote too or something.
If they want Carnage in a next film they should bring a new symbiote or have this one reproduce before it dies or whatever (like it did in TAS). Cause why would it change its look once it gets attached to Cassidy.

Oh this source is bogus... they also said Mcaddams had been cast in TDK... they don't know what they are talking about... they just listen to the fans on this site an make assumptions based on popular opinion

sam said he didn't like venom until topher was playing so he is probably going to have venom, don't get me wrong I really am not mad at sam for doing although I would have liked it if venom would live because they could use him in a future sequel. well as long as brocks death is a reasonable one and is a good death which I know sam can deliver.

I'm sure Sam can and will give Brock a good and reasonable death as you said but since, according to various sources, the symbiote will live I dont think they can have it attach to someone else in a sequel cause it wouldnt be Venom (Brock is Venom) and it wouldnt be Carnage either.
Unless they dont care about stuff like that and they show the same symbiote in a sequel attach to Cassidy and make it look like Carnage

the only symbiote I think should be in a spidey film is venom and it should remain that way. the symbiote will probbly just live on in the sewers or something for the rest of it's life and that would be the end of the symbiote saga. in fact I think if brock dies but nobody sees his body he would be dead to even news reporters until they found him then in a future spidey sequel brock returns and sits in a bad part of new york on the sidewalk and then the symbiote comes out of the sewer and crawls on brock to once again become venom. yeah it is corny and will never happen but I'm just saying IF it did.

I like the idea of Harry trying to manipulate Mary Jane.

well in the comic con unfinished graphics footage...gwen is falling from something and spider-man has to try and catch her with his webs while free falling

This picture shows Spiderman saving Gwen as she falls, also trying to dodge a falling girder.

This isn't 100% proof that she is in the final battle, but it kinda adds up.

That's from Spidey's first battle with Sandman during Spider-Man Day I think. Premiere Magazine confirmed that Spidey would save Gwen in his first battle. Also, she has the pink shirt she was wearing at SPider-Man Day on.

The best part was when he claimed he got the Aaron Eckhart info ZOMG first, but he forgot to post it before Latino Review...or something.

Total faker.

And thank god for that. Most of this seems cobbled from the summary from awhile ago.

Ah cool. Like I said, I wasn't sure. But the things that made me think that was obviously the girder, and the fact that it looks like night fall. Could just be the darkness of the trailer though.

I have no problem with Sandman being an anti-hero, using the term loosely. Whether or not his daughter is ill, he still leaves a life of crime, robbing, looting, and even killing (possibly more then once). True, his "motive" is to save his daughter, however, I have a distinct feeling his doing it for himself as well.

Besides, Sandman goes good in the comics anyway.

It's possible that part is actually correct but overall, he seems hilariously fake to me.

But YMMV, of course. :)
