When Lesnar was done beating the sh** of Mir at UFC 100, I stood on the side of the arena's hallway as everybody was leaving holding up my shirt (his original wwe one that has his name on it and beast skull symbol) with pride. Most of the UFC fans walking by were flashing me dirty looks. They were PISSED! X D

Lesnar was a draw for the UFC that's all that matters to Dana. I'm not going to pretend he's some great fighter though.

He had the potential to be one of the greatest fighters, in any class, that MMA had ever seen. Had he had a singular focus after college, better health in recent years, and more hunger for the spotlight, we might be making analogies with Lesnar and Muhammad Ali instead of Lesnar and Mike Tyson.

If Lesnar had not developed both Mono and Diverticulitis, he'd still be UFC Heavyweight Champion, or at least a force in the division.

If Lesnar hadn't gotten that illness, he'd still be fighting in The Octagon for sure. I'm just glad he came back to WWE to freshen things up even if he's not around that much.

As for Impact MMA, Rampage has passion for wrestling. Tito's just doing it for a quick paycheck.

This edition of Impact had a couple of good matches, but with an underwhelming reveal. Yes, Tito Ortiz has been in TNA before. If this was to promote his fight against Rampage Jackson, I wonder what TNA will get out of this.

Austin Aries and AJ Styles' match was good, but the ending was strange and the match went way too long that went against the BFG series rules.

Manik came across more of a star than Chris Sabin in their champion vs. champion match.

I hope they end the Aves and Eights at Hardcore Justice.

The guy was handed a title shot with a 1 and 1 record. He could have been great but he wasn't around long enough to really prove it.

I've always been a Lesnar fan but he was put in his position to get PPV buys.

So is Tito in Aces&Eights or what??

It really doesn't. No one cares for MMA unless it's MMA, and even UFC's popularity has slipped a bit in the last few years.

I've never watched MMA/UFC and I don't know many people that do. I never even heard anyone talk about it in public like they talk about other sports.

I'm sure its very popular though.

It's funny about Ortiz. I remember the night he lost to Lyoto Machida and had one of his big falling outs with Dana White. After the fight, I said it'll be six months before he's working for Vince McMahon.

Instead, he waited a couple years, came back to UFC, got one win, washed out again, and ended up in TNA.

He really should've tried to ride his popularity from his Chuck Liddell and Ken Shamrock feuds and at least wrestle for the big show (WWE). Oh well, he's rich. He can do what he wants.

I wonder if Tito will bring Jenna Jameson with him. :oldrazz:

In fairness AJ is so small her bath water probably only fills a couple of coffee mugs. :woot:

The Rock recently did an interview for The Province, and when asked about a potential return to WWE and pro wrestling, he had the following to say:

"I’d like to leave it open. But if I’d never wrestle again, I’d be very content with that. Winning or losing never really mattered to me. The whole idea was to put on a great match. Got injured in that match. Still was able to walk out on my own, which I was more happy about. I don’t know. We’ll see."

So much for "never leaving again."

Now Bryan might not have always had the best mic skills but as far as personality goes, Bryan was never the boring "Geek" that he was played off as prior to him cashing in the Briefcase.

Regardless of the reality, it's better for Bryan if Vince believes he created him.
