Popular/acclaimed books that you can't stand

The "Twilight" series, obviously. And yes, I've read them all so it just isn't senseless hating.

And I know it's a classic, but I really didn't like "The Great Gatsby". Maybe I'll give it a try again in a few years.

I've read Wicked the book, but I just don't like it as much as I like the musical.

I thought Jane Eyre was boring and I wanted to smack Heathcliff.

You live in your momma's basement, don't you?

Heathcliff was in Wuthering Heights, wrong Bronte sister :)

But on a side note; i had to read Jane Eyre twice over school time, and never got to the end either time. I hated it

But on the other hand, I loved Wide Sargasso Sea (a book written as it's prequel, like 60 yrs later)

Dubliners by James Joyce

Peer Gynt-Ibsen(especially since i'm a huge Ibsen fan)

So very ****ing much The Awakening by Kate Chopin

Also, I felt let down by The Man in the Iron Mask
