This weekend I borrowed a porn DVD, hadn't watched porn in a while, been doing good with my girlfriend.

Instead of enjoying it, I thought about what I was seeing.
Some of these girls were young, right on the limit... And I couldn't conceive how it is that these same girls aren't aloud to drink alcohol until they are 21, yet they can do this.

Argument goes that at a young age your too irresponsible to be getting drunk, that it is hazardous to your health et cetera.

But what happens to the life of some young naive girl, or boy for that matter, that gets themselves involved in the porn industry as soon as they're "legal"?

It basically renders all other avenues of success closed to you, you run an advance risk of contracting diseases, by ostracized by family and friends.

Not to mention how sleazy the people you'll be working with are going to be. A young 18 year old girl, with illusions of future fame or loads of cash will get broken. This DVD in particular was a brand name one, ostensibly accepted by America, it was a Hustler.

It wasn't described as being anything out of the ordinary, but the girls were pretty heavily abused for the most part, especially this fad for choking girls during oral. They're told thats what men like, that they have to do it, girls in the industry are constantly coerced to push it further, hell they are forced into homosexuality as well.

Shouldn't we rethink the minimum requirement of age for porn?
I don't mean the actual age of consent in real relationships, but to put a strick limit to people that want to get into the porn industry, give them a few more years to think of the implications.

Well the ones making porn, producing, directing, whatever, are basically sleaze bags from what I can assess. They'll set up scenes too make an 18 year old seem like a 14 year old, and no one seems to raise objections... Apart from extremist Christian people who aren't listen too outside of their circle anyways.

If I ever have a kid, I'd much rather them experiment with weed then end up in porn.
Yet getting into porn is a valid career option whereas weed is look upon as a scourge to society, and I'd argue that weed is much less harmful to ones life then involving yourself in porn.

i think the only way they can do that is to raise the age of consent and "adulthood" to 21 as well. Even if they aren't allowed to actually be in the porn industry, the rate of ameature porn will skyrocket. The only way to cover all bases is to raise the bar, I guess. So anything ameature after that point will be considered child pornagrophy and illegal.

I have a friend (just turned 18) who wants to audition for a certain notable alternative porn site, but she's sort of a dumbass so I don't really care what she does. She apparently justified herself by saying she's part of that 'scene.' What scene, the one where you're naked on the internet? She's also a shameless band groupie (and a **** for any guy with a guitar) so basically an idiot all around.

But yeah, like chicks who do Girls Gone Wild and stuff? When they're only barely eighteen and assuredly drunk more than half the time? That's pretty sick. I hate Girls Gone Wild. Those girls aren't acting on their better judgment when they're completely ****-faced.

I also don't understand people who fake being nice to people who are their "friend" but also a "dumbass" or "idiot." You obviously don't like her that much and are not that great of a friend if you're badmouthing her behind her back.

Porn relies on creating fantasies...the actors choose to be involved in making that illusion. Many people get off on the "schoolgirl" fantasy, so that's where the actresses who look younger than their age come in. Is is "right" for old men to wish they were ****ing a 13 year old school girl? Personally, I think it's wrong and perverted, but the 18 year old woman acting in the movie is thinking she's making a whole heap of money off of wearing pigtails and a plaid skirt while she has some good orgasms

I don't see anything wrong with letting those girls (who are of legal age) to make porn their career. If they wanted to do it and like the paycheck, then they should be allowed to do it. As for comparing it to legal age for alcoholic beverages, they are apples and oranges, and quite frankly anyone who wanted to drink before they're 21, they probably do so anyway (as my experience during college would attest).

She's not an idiot for wanting to pose nude, she's just an idiot in general. I don't think she regards me as much of a friend in the first place, but it was a more convenient word to use than 'acquaintance,' I guess. I don't like her that much, but we run in the same circles.

Anyway, I don't think that the majority of chicks who do stuff like Girls Gone Wild are particularly intelligent or confident, more like they're just drunk attention ****es.
