Portland mall shooting leaves one dead

It seems like it happens now more than ever. This is just crazy.

It could be, because the press keeps giving these nuts attention?

Yeah, several psychologists have agreed that the way the media covers these shootings just encourages copy cat shootings.

That said mall shootings are nothing new, nor are spree killings. They seem to happen more often but it's mostly that media coverage in the past was different than it is now post-Columbine. Now ever random shooting is treated like national news (as long as they involve like, random people in a mall or theater or whatever getting shot, and not like a bunch of people on a street corner getting shot by gangbangers or what have you).

In any case, are there any popular films out this week we can blame this shooting on to get higher ratings? I nominate Lincoln.

I just watched The Bourne Legacy last night. There's a scene in the film where a chemist goes on a shooting spree inside the lab. It's very disturbing , especially in light of recent events.
