Possible HML5 lineup

I mean I get were getting characters that a lot of people have wanted but Toybiz did the same thing. As Spideyboy has said Toybiz made all the heavy hitters and had hasbro made them again they we would have thrown a fit. That's why they are looking for variants of very popular characters like Planet Hulk,Ultimate Wolverine and the recent FF wave.I mean wave 1 of Hasbro half of the characters already had figures of them already.

lol dude, u so only love hasbro for the characters there doing... u remind me of a bush supporter, blind.

Hey they have made some nice figures, IMO. Actually Blob is one of my favorite BAF's....Next so Sentinel and Giantman!!!

They are trying hard to keep us fans "hyped", I mean, do you prefer they jusy=t drop the line then???

I'm sure I dont want that, I want to keep getting new legends and some reissues of the crappiest from TB.

I agree that TB changed the way to collect figures, but, hey in their first year they have some ups and downs too!

This is Hasbro's first year, so let them get better, I know they will get better. They have shown sings of hearing what the fans say, maybe we will get washes next...maybe more articulation, Hey they are all business, they have to know by now that with this sort of things they will be selling tons more of ML figures...

Just saying! :word:

Eh...I loved the Planet Hulk fig.... They have to do heavy hitters too...thats what sells series...I think the are doing great balancing series btween heavy hitters and B and C guys! Even Army Builders!

Just so you know army builders were toybiz idea but weren't able to do.

but toybiz was gonna go about it the wrong way at first
buy a green goblin and get a packin army builder
so you can have your very own hydra army and green goblin army, that would have sucked major balls

alright I get it.You guys like Hasbro.I just miss Toybiz.:csad:

I miss toybiz too, especially the paint apps, washes, and realistic looking skin.

But I think Hasbro is doing better. If they could fix the head being too small in a lot of cases problem along with giving figures more realistic skin, then I think they'll be giving Toybiz a run for their money.

We are getting some great charaters from hasbro. Some that I've been impressed with: Annihilus, Blob, Ronan (at least we got him right?), HMLFF Surfer, doom, moleman (yeah he's ugly, but I finally have a mole man!), Planet Hulk was pretty cool though I could have done without him, Hercules is ok except for the weird smile, Glad to have she-hulk finally, Domino ain't too shabby, Brood Queen turned out better than I thought, FA Cap is great, and I'm glad to have Black Knight, though I feel like he's lacking in articulation big time.

We're starting to get army builders now, even if the hydra could use a little more work. But at least we're getting them.

And I'm glad to have Tigra and the FA Daredevil on the way. And as most of you know, that FA Daredevil has been #1 on my wants list for a while. So props to hasbro for him and I hope he turns out to be my favorite figure so far, him and the variant.

And the HML4 Punisher looks pretty cool, though, I will be more impressed with hasbro if he comes packing, like FO2 punisher packing. That would sell me on that figure alone if he comes with some serious artillary. And Nova is cool though I could have done with or without him and people will finally get the Black Bolt they've been whining for.

So I think hasbro is doing a descent job in delivering more ML. And I know a lot of people are complaining about distribution. Well I live in a major city where TB ML's were almost impossible to find. So distribution always sucked, ALWAYS.

I've managed to see every HML figure in stores so far (haven't seen HML3 yet only b/c I ordered them on-line since I've been too busy to hunt like crazy). Thor from HML2 was the only one I haven't seen much of in stores. But there are some TB MLs that I never saw once. That's sad especially for non-variants.

Hasbro is a great blessing with it's shipping, though I know it sucks for people out of the US, but since I'm not hurting being an American, then that isn't as much of a concern for me. And hasbro usually has some discount to take advantage of to save 10% or save on shipping or save something. So it's like going to the store without having to waste the time and gas which is great for me. They also made a seperate spidey movie line which was great for me as I have no interest in movie figures. I didn't like the movie figures being in HML1-3 and I see that there are no movie figures on the slate of HML4 or the proposed slate of HML5 so they have made me happy in taking them out.

I think a lot of people just miss Toybiz because they brought the legends and they did a great job. But they had many fudge ups too. Series 3 Daredevil, Scarlet Witch, Ultron, Cheeto Thing, taking Crimson Dynamo out of ML13 (another in my top 10) etc., so everyone has screw ups.

At least we're still getting Legends. I promised my fiance whom I've been with for four years now that once Marvel Legends died, I'd stop collecting figues for good. I plan on keeping my promise, so I hope the line never dies as it will end my figure collecting and it's a fun hobby for the most part. But I'm also thankful for the figures I get because I could just easily not ever get them.

Some people complained about she-hulk, but I'd rather have an overly happy she-hulk than no she-hulk at all. So I don't know why people have to complain about every little thing. Hey, we got the figure at least right? Don't like it, don't buy it. That simple.

With that said, I know the hasbro products could use the washes, and the skin could look more realistic, and sometimes the heads might be a little too small, but I thank hasbro for trying. And I'm sure that they will fix all those problems soon. They're learning as this is new for them as well. It's not like hasbro ever had figures resembling ML before.

But for now I'm happy for what I got and am glad to see what he future of ML holds. Oh and if that hulk line that we saw pictures of comes out, that will be my favorite line to date. Except I will probably love the other hulk line even more as it has Bi-Beast, Wendigo, Absorbing Man, and FA She-Hulk which sound awesome. And Fin Fang Foom as a BAF! Sweet! So I hope that happens. And I'll be happy as heck to have my very own Bi-Beast finally.

hey now ml2 thing has been the only thing i think looks like iconic thing. his articulation sucks but his sculpt is amazing.

I said it a long time ago that it would take a wave or two before Hasbro got on the ball. I always say "look at their Star Wars stuff." There SW stuff has amazing articulation and likeness for tiny figures.

The Legends are starting to get there, once they arrive at that point TB will be just a memory. I already thing the FFL Doom is the best Doom in a long friggin time.

When I said Cheeto Thing, I meant the FA one numb nuts. :whatever: Because that's the one that looks like a giant Cheeto Thing. Series 2 Thing is great as far as I'm concerned and he and Torch were the first legends I ever bought. But I don't think the HMLFF Thing is too shabby either. Just a little bit of a small head.

Yeah, I really think that HML3 far surpasses HML1 and HML2. Maybe not as far as BAFs go, but I feel that it does as far as individual figues go. The only figures from HML3 I didn't want at first were Marvel Girl (who turned out really well and I'm glad I got her now) and X3 Colossus. But like I said, I'm not really into movie figs. But as far as movie figs go, he's a pretty cool figure. But I still have no use for him.

So having to only get 1 figure I didn't want isn't too bad. And really, I'm glad to have all the figures in HML4. And I know they put off Astonishing Beast for now, but he was actually the one I wanted least. Though I know others are bumed that he's been pulled, but we all know that he'll end up getting made.

since when did beast get pulled? and replaced by whom?

i really dont think he was
i think some online retailer listed ml4 for preorder and beast wasnt listed so people think he was pulled
i highly doubt that

3 different online retailers have listed Astonishing Beast as being removed from series 4. Big Bad Toy Store was the first, and according to their site the case assortment for series 4 will be 2x Daredevil, Punisher, and Nova, and 1x Black Bolt and Tigra. Cornerstore Comics then listed Beast as being cancelled from the series later the same day. A couple of days later another online retailer(forgot which one it was) changed their case assortments to also not include Beast, but their case assortment had 2x Daredevil and Punisher, and 1x of Black Bolt, Nova, Tigra, and the Hydra Soldier(possibly the variant). So it's possible that he has been removed from the lineup, but no one is really sure yet.

hmmm

Anyway...while TBML2 Thing looks really good, he was a little too big for the scale.

well there not going to be putting 2 hydra agents in 2 lines... and many store chains follow suit, if one site puts its up... others follow, true or not. i doubt beast would be pulled... it just sounds like they left him off for some reason. and they couldnt do a line with only 5 figs

dang....i didn't even know about that. did they ever show a proto? and if so, i wonder if hasbro has the mold for it or if they're planning on using it eventually.

Anyway...while TBML2 Thing looks really good, he was a little too big for the scale.

actually that depends on the artist...

sometimes he's as big as hulk, sometimes hes just slightly taller then reed...
i prefer a big thing over a average ... pun intended :cwink:

they aparently made a proto... never a pick taken of it

True.....But Thing is generally described as just over six feet tall.

Also...if the Dynamo proto made it to Molding...then yes, Hasbro has the mold....otherwise Jesse Falcon's prolly got the Proto on his desk with the unused Havok Varient.

*sighs about havok :(

lets also not forget that theres a chameleon and spot mold out there somewhere

Chameleon was Just the Xavier suit body with a new head....like the Jigsaw Varient....and Spot was just the general Iceman/Silver Surfer type body with a fancy paint and head

described means nada... these are figs... it's all about the art the fig is based on
