Transformers Possible pictures and information on robot modes?

With all the news we've heard about horse legged-insect like Transformers, i really think Bay and Co are taking this whole alien race thing a little far. I understand that the TF's are indeed an alien race but taking them far away from their humaniod forms, especially eliminating certain facial features, will make showing the TF's expressing emotions extremely hard. The sopposed pic of Prime without a nose, makes me think that Bay is trying to make this movie 'too' realistic. Sure the TF's don't breath air so they don't need noses but what else will Bay eliminate on the TF's bodies to make them make more sense?

Why does everything that doesn't come from earth automatically has to look like an insect? Is it so impossible to believe that, billions of lightyears away from earth, there could be something resembling a humanoid form? Or could possibly have similar facial expressions?

And the flames on Prime still piss me off!

100% agreeing with you. Just because it's from another planet it doesn't mean it won't have humanoid form or have human characteristics.

That's not a fan design. That is the Megatron design that was going to be used in the aborted TransTech line, the sequel to Beast Machines.

I dont think the edited released pics and the pic of OP standing next to the scientist come from the same source.
In the production pics, Prime has red between his hand and elbow, and in the standing up drawing, he has blue.
EDIT:
also, I get the feeling in the production pics, that the covering of his arm is opening up, possible to release a weapon or sumpin.
