This was posted on Bluetights, seems sketchy to me, but was brought to my attention by GreenKToo so I thought I would post it for debate and discussion.

It looks like one of the reporters of a minor on-line LA magazine made
a huge goof. An entertainment magazine based in LA was doing an interview with Dan Harris and Mike D. The reporter has a change to sit in
on a meeting which discussed some minor and major details centering around plots for the sequel. The reporter said he signed a confidential paper saying he would not disclose any information regarding plots in the internet magazine. But despite his promise, he leaked some juicy spoiler details which were shut down by the CEO of the magazine within an hour.
No word if Superman Execs will take legal action.......But I warn you if you dont want to know any minor or major spoiler details then dont read any further. And for all I know, the writers may change the ideas for the script because of this reporter.

1) There is a plan for not one but two major villians in this movie and one is himself.

2) Superman's son is a very minor part of the story.

3) The final battle scenes are not just with the two villians, but "others" supposably "created" beings by Lex Luthor on "New Krypton".

4) They want to introduce the possibility of re-introducing General Zod at the "end" of the story. A cliffhanger leading into a third film. Supposably Lex did something to help General Zod come back through "New Krypton" at the end.

5) They discussed a death of Lex Luthor

Well thats it for now. These leaked spoilers I guess were ideas that were running around in the meeting. Another interesting note is that the reporter seems to know both Mike and Dan pretty well. Maybe that explains why he got to sit in during a script meeting. Maybe this reporter isnt such a good friend anymore?

Sounds mostly like bunk, but the second idea needs to happen.

Except the Luthor death, sounds excellent to me, if any of this is "true".

I actually think this is true, only because of the Zod thing. After suffering through SR I just get the feeling that Singer isn't going to stop until he's done ever single thing that Donner did...and throw in Lois becoming a stripper, because it needs something new and updated!

These don't sound that far-fetched to me at all ...

1) There is a plan for not one but two major villians in this movie and one is himself. Well, Spacey is back and it only makes sense that we need a different villain that can match Supe's strength. I wish Singer would watch some of the JL and JLU cartoons and bring in Braniac, but I'm guessing we're getting Bizarro ... The comment by Harris that they'd left clues in SR about the next villain is likely linked to the blood on that piece of Kryptonite the docs took out of Supes. I sense we'll get something along the lines of DNA cloning going wrong ...

2) Superman's son is a very minor part of the story.
That's good. Singer I'm sure is shaking his head about needing to concede he got it wrong with the kid. It's not that the idea was bad, it's just that SR was poorly executed. Had he read "Son of Superman", I'm sure he would have taken a quite different approach to it. Regardless, people pay to see SUPERMAN not Supe's kid or Richard or Lois -- we want Supes duking it out with the baddies so less kid is good, no matter which way you slice it.

3) The final battle scenes are not just with the two villians, but "others" supposably "created" beings by Lex Luthor on "New Krypton". Again, makes sense given Lex is in there with some others. This makes (2) a little strange to me. Odds are these new creatures will be bred with Kryptonite so Supes is going to have a horribly bad time fighting them ... oh no, the kid is impervious to Kryptonite ... I really don't like where that might be going ...

4) They want to introduce the possibility of re-introducing General Zod at the "end" of the story. A cliffhanger leading into a third film. Supposably Lex did something to help General Zod come back through "New Krypton" at the end. Please someone find Singer and knock some sense into him. Listen, there are OTHER bad guys you can do. Zod is hardly the best one to pursue. Braniac, dude, Braniac ... or Apokoplips or Darkseid -- I mean, all three of these are better than Zod. SR hurt because it was TOO similar and TOO routine -- SR2 needs to be fresh. No more relying on the Reeve films. The only thing I want to see/hear resembling those movies is the Williams Score. That's it.

5) They discussed a death of Lex Luthor
Good. Kill him -- if all else stinks, at least some of us can rest easy knowing that when WB takes the franchise away from Singer we won't get Luthor again. I like him as a villain, but I'm sick of seeing him in every freaking Superman movie.

Couldn't have said it better! Yeah, the only thing that I want from the films is the Williams theme(s)....don't forget that we need a new brighter costume!:cwink:

I'm not sure about it, I couldnt find any info on it, but he did say that they pulled it from the site it was on, so........A BIG grain of salt.

1. Ok i like the fact they want mulitple villains, but NOT BIZZARO... can you say HELLO SUPERMAN: Quest for Peace???? only villains allowed should be ZOD, Brainiac, Luther, Darksied, Doomsday

2. Good get rid of the little bastard

3. Not a bad idea but superman cant stand on NK, the whole thing is kryptonite, also its floating farther away, if there is to be a way he can be on the island without losing all his powers then cool, that would mean any kryptonain being or form would be humanized as well

4. Im for one ok with ZOD but since Singer made Luther more cunning and dark i want Zod more the same way, more angry more pissed off... i want gerad butler as zod, THISSSS IS NEWWWWW KRYPPPTTTOOONNNN!!!! he'd be a perfect person to bad pretty boy Routh

5. I liek the idea but hate it at the same time... if the saga is to end then kill lutehr off... or wait till the final movie and have someone else kill him like darksied or Zod.. i know people dis like Zod but maybe we can change him to have armor now like from NK or something...

I'm gonna take this all with a grain of salt... sounds bogus to me

I can see it now - in order to cut costs on the sequel the big final battle between Superman and the supposed Lex creatures takes place on NK and since it robs all of them of their powers they won't need any special effects of flying scenes in battle - just a bar room brawl for 15 minutes - $25 million saved right there on the budget!!!

question is how are they supposed to fight if there all dying form over exsposure of kryptonite? it cant work...

I'm amazed how easily people who love this movie are willing to accept the kid becoming a minor role. Personally, I didn't like him either, but Singer set him up as a huge plot point of SR, and to minimize him in the sequel would make everything built up in SR pointless.

The fanboys complained, and ruined another good thing.

I cant see much of this being true to be honest guys and gals, but we shall see.

I agree with your remarks regarding these rumours. I have a bad feeling if Bizarro is really going to be in it though. Shades of the Richard Pryor Superman 3 good vs bad Supes?

Killing Lex Luthor is kinda dangerous IMO....

The kid being used in a very minor way is a good thing.

I agree big time on the love affair Singer and his writers have with Zod.
Enough is enough already with him being used in Superman films. Braniac needs to be introduced instead! Doesn't Singer, Harris and Dougherty get it yet??

Oh and Singer needs to bring in Williams to do the score! I'm tired of the underwhelming Ottman and his mediocre scores.....

What the heck does this mean?

1) There is a plan for not one but two major villians in this movie and ONE IS HIMSELF.

Why are you guys all talking about Superman fighting on NK, it doesn't say that?

What love affair?

It's the fans that have pinned Zod to the sequel, not Singer or the writers, who have not said a damn thing about the character.

Were the hell are you getting that from?
