I never understood how Doc Ock never got a bruise after being pummeled atleast 75 times.

I feel the same way about Spidey. He gets hammered by Ock and not so much as a scratch to show for it, save for the gash on his chest he gets in the train battle. Especially considering Ock smashed his head into buildings, smacked him hard in the face with his tentacles etc. Not a mark on his face.

Same with Norman in SM-1. He hammered seven shades of s*** out of Spidey, and not so much as a bruise or black eye to show for it.

He's not Wolverine, he has no advanced healing factor.

I think they try to establish through the movies that Peter has some sort of resistance to injury, I got that after he was barely hurt after falling from the sky.

its all about marketing..they hook us with a few clips then we stick around waiting for more...this way they can charge more for advertisement during the movie since there will be a bigger audience since they are anticipating the teaser clips
