Possiblly new Marvel fighting game

At the 2008 New York Comic Con, during the joint Marvel Entertainment and Sega panel showcasing the upcomig Iron Man and Hulk video games, Justin Lambros, the Marvel Vice President of Interactive did not announce a new fighter game featuring Marvel characters. However, Lambros did say that with Marvel and Sega's current successful partnership, the time was right for a new fighter game and he was eager to bring such a product to the market. Lambros said that he would most likely be annoucing a Marvel fighter game at next year's Comic Con. Doing the math, that means that the game should be out in Q3 or Q4 of 2009.

But probably done by SEGA. Althought Virtua Fighter is great, that format just won't work and if anything it will be done by one of their western studios and western studios just can't make a good fighter.

Yea, thats what they were working on, unfortuantly that game is now vapor ware.

Since DC is getting a new fighting game, I hope Marvel will have a new game as well.

Yeah, but it's only Mortal Kombat vs DC, not a full-out DC slugfest. I think they should do for DC what EA was trying to for Marvel and make a DC fighting game with big destructable environments and over the top moves...that would really suit the DC characters, IMO.

That is the EA game. Those videos are old and I believe were the first look of that game
