The Dark Knight Post Pictures Of Things You Really Want To See In 'The Dark Knight'

Look, I just need to say this once.

Batman doesn't wear lenses. Not all the time.

White eyes when wearing a mask is a comic book tradition. It's not a literal representation of what the character's eyes look like.

Exactly. Tons of characters have white eyes when wearing a mask, Green Lantern and Wolverine are two I can think of. Yet for some reason, Batman is the only character who's fanboys demand it in the movies.

yh... that kinda makes me angry... dunno why... :D

I'd love to see something like this for a final battle.

I have always mantained that the Joker should kill rachel off, not because I don't like the character of rachel or Katie Holmes for that matter, it is just that event would push Bruce closer to crossing a line that he has promised to not cross. The Joker drives him to want to kill the Joker and I would love that to be the end fight. He has flashes of rachel as he punishes the Joker and he then has flashes of her dead by the Jokers hands, sending him into a rage until Gordon comes and stops him, like in hush. Gordon lets off a round that zips by Batmans head and hits the brick wall right above his head. Batman pauses, he utters, "How many more lives, Jim." Gordon is taken back that Batman has called him by his first name. "How many more lives will he destroy if he isn't stopped right now!?". Batman turns to face Gordon still clenching the Jokers shirt in his hands. Gordon still has his gun raised, " It's over! We have him now. He will be punished for what he has done. Batman...if you kill him...if you cross that line, I will lead the hunt to bring you down. He has destroyed so many lives, I won't let him destroy yours." Batman looks at Gordon, rain water runs down his cowl. He closes his eyes and lets go of the Joker's shirt. The Joker falls to the ground, limp. Gordon rushes over to the Joker and puts handcuffs on him. He turns his head to see batman is gone. I wold love something like that

Also in that scene, which sounds great btw, you include a shot similar to when Gordon comforts young Bruce in the police station on the night of his murder. Batman kneeling down with Gordon placing a hand on his shoulder, then a flashback of the begins scene. Would be cool i think?

The only thing I want to see is a cameo or part from Adam West, doesn't have to be campy, just a doorman, a citizen, hell he could even be a serious bad-ass mobster!!! :batman: :batty:

I want some character posters for this film, ala 'Spidey in the rain' shot for SM3. With that said, I'd like something like this:

Not really a poster, more of a promo image to wet the fanboys' appetites. Something that sets the mood, and certainly evoke a "darker" feeling for the sequel. That above shot does it for me.

While I would love a scene like that, I dont think that would fit in the second film, where Batman is just barely meeting the Joker. That's something that hapens after Batman has sent Joker to Arkham countless times and he's escaped countless times. Batman's fed up with it all, and just wants to end it for good. Also, while Batman and Gordon have already established their friendship, I wouldn't say it's at the point yet for a scene like that.

I understand what you are saying, but Nolan and co. don't have the advatange that the comics have. He has to force the issue a little more than people that write the comics. He has to make this an ultimate story. Making the Joker responsible for the deaths of rachel and even maybe just maybe Gordon's wife would push Batman and Gordon to the breaking point while they try to hold on to what they believe in.

i wanna see this damnit!

maybe more in the future though because the scars look healed.

or screw it, maybe sooner while the wounds are still bloody and tender :woot:
I would like to see this too, but considering how armored up Bats is in this movie series, I doubt this will ever happen.

I would love to see a scene that happened at an abandoned amusement park, like in "The Killing Joke".

Something tells me we won't see it. :(

In the first film, an elevator was used to get down to the cave. With the Grandfather clock, it usually means a door to the stairs that lead down.

Seems like a downgrade, no? :o

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this but if someone could get a picture of when Bale descends into the cave in the elevator wearing his PJs, if you look at the edges of the screen you can see stairs spiraling down around the elevator. I watched it last night on Sky Movies and thats the first time i've noticed it after about 10 viewings.
