That ruins her. What makes Catwoman work is that she's both independent and a seductress. She's about sexual tension, which is why she is the only love interest that works for Batman. Whether you guys want to admit it or not, dressing up the way he does has a huge undertone of sexual repression (ie: he represses all these urges and passions into a fetish and a mask that he only dons at night) Catwoman being both sexually free and at the same time a mask, once again creates a dynamic that makes her one of the only females that works in Batman's story. Make her just another "love interest for Bruce" and you not only waste her, you make her a detriment to the movie. The worst thing in every Batman movie has been their attempt to include a standardized romance into the sub-plots, it never works. The only time it did was in Returns for all the reasons I just stated. Batman is not about love, not by any stretch of the imagination.

Adding to that, it's no wonder why Batman Returns is pretty much the only comic book film to have a good female lead/love interest. Catwoman is the sh1t.

Yes, I agree with you, and this image is from "The Long Halloween" which introduces "Two Face", so I hope this could happen in the movie too.
