I'm not opposed to a new actor playing a different version of Batman in a Justice League movie, in fact, I welcome it.

Even in the comics, the Batman that appears in Justice League is different to the one that appears in his solo titles. Justice League Batman is more of a superhero, using hi-tech sci-fi gadgets and extraordinary intelligence. More James Bond than Sherlock Holmes.

Nolan's Batman is not the only Batman.

but honestly Nolan's Batman is set in the "real world" if GL and the next Superman movie are also set in the "real world" they'll totally work. and for all of you who don't think Nolan's Batman can work with the other DC characters just wait till they unleash the Batwing(thats his bat shaped jet if you didn't already know) in the next movie.

How can Superman..an alien and GL a space police be real. It sucks but its true, Nolan's Batman wont fit, Nolan said so himself. And even if they do use the Batwing...that doesnt mean that you can have aliens...it really sucks but its true and ppl need to stop trying to find a way for it to work

Maybe Nolan can use the "real" Batman. The one who's been fighting Mr. Freeze, Man-Bat, Clayface, and a resurrected R'as Al Ghul. The one who's known Superman for quite some time.

I would think you guys would be against magical characters like Zatanna and Dr. Fate appearing alongside the Dark Knight because magic isn't real...

But Superman and GL? When did we manage to explore the whole universe and confirm that aliens do in fact do not exist and we are alone?

Oh and don't quote Nolan saying that if Superman existed, there would be no Batman.
Superman has his own home city and guys like Lex Luthor to worry about. If Supes did so much as steal candy from a baby, Lex would have him declared a criminal...

Also, Batman could always have been the first. He won't stop fighting the good fight just because a blue boy scout appeared. Remember Watchmen? Even after the appearance of Dr. Manhattan, guys like Rorsach kept working ....

Or maybe you can go with the Justice League Unlimited angle:

The Batman in Justice League is the same Batman from the somewhat grounded and darker animated series. Same character almost in a different universe.

I think Bale can play Batman in a Justice League live action movie, but it would have to be a different approach.

The problem is not how dark the movies we're, it's how much they we're grounded on reality. TAS Batman faced Vampires, Warewolfs, Mutants, Immortal Men, Zombies and much more. He would fit in a world that has an alien, a space cop or an amazon princess.

Nolan's Batman wouldn't.
