The Amazing Spider-Man Post your Plot ideas...

The Kingpin plot of Ultimate Spider-Man volume two, subbing in the Big Man. The Green Goblin shows up at the school for a surprise climactic battle, ala his first Ultimate appearance.

I just want to see a mix of Ultimate Spider-Man vol. 5, TSSM ep. 26, and maybe throw in the Green Goblin, maybe have him fight as his regular 616 self and then at the last few minutes of the final battle have him transform into the Ultimate green goblin because the formula kicks in harder. Then he and Spidey duke it out for a few minutes on a flaming rooftop. Oh and Gwen should be pete's love intrest.

- Lizard is the main villain.

- Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy are Dr. Connors' top two students in his Biology class at their high school and worked with him in experimenting on regenerating missing limbs, and even see Dr. Connors take the serum to grow his arm back, but he becomes a giant Lizard instead; Peter tries to fend off Lizard while trying to keep his identity a secret from Gwen while she tries to save their mentor as well.

- Uncle Ben's death is a conspiracy which is lead to all the way to Norman Osborn, also the father of Peter's best friend, Harry Osborn. Osborn finds out that the spider that bit Peter came from an OsCorp lab and tries to kidnap Peter to test out his abilities from the effects of OsCorp's drug, called OZ(a minute ingredient in Dr. Connors' serum as well). Osborn's men tries to take Peter, but he easily escapes and one man becomes too angry and ends up taking out his gun to fire at Peter, but as soon as he dodges, the bullet hits Ben(all of this happens infront of May and Ben's home). The last thing Ben sees before he dies is witnessing Peter using his abilities, another reason why there is such shock and emotion with Peter not being able to save his uncle even with his newfound gifts. Peter never finds out Norman Osborn hired the men to kidnap him though.

- After concluding that the OZ drug can be a gift and realizing that Peter is Spider-Man, and Dr. Connors used part of the OZ formula on his Lizard serum, he decides to stop using the OZ drug on animals and start human testing immediately(Norman doesn't become Green Goblin as a cliffhanger; it only becomes alluded to. And Norman keeps Peter's secret, and doesn't even let Peter know about his knowledge of him knowing about Peter.); he does, however, keep surveillance on Spider-Man and makes sure to clean up all loose ends on Ben's death.

- Dr. Connors survives(and possibly cured) and finds out that Peter is Spider-Man, thus becoming an ally by film's end.

And minor things, such as:

- Harry and Mary Jane Watson start to date by film's end.

- Gwen falls for Spider-Man, and is only a friend to Peter(at least in this film).

- J. Jonah Jameson is the only co-worker shown at the Daily Bugle.

- Aunt May and Uncle Ben are not hippies.

- Peter's parents were only scientists and not agents.

- Lizard, before he is finally defeated, tries to eat his ex-wife and his child(Hey, if TSSM did it, why can't this movie?).

Well, the death of uncle Ben being a conspiracy sounds a little lame. This time I want that the death of uncle Ben be just like in the original comic and not some **** like sandman killing uncle Ben.

- Gwen and Peter grow closer to each other by the finale.

- Doctor Connors reunites with his family who he apologizes to.

- Electro is put in prison for his crimes.

How's that? Good or bad?

well everything else is ok in your plot but the fact that the lizard has actually nothing to do with electro, and it would be like two seperate storylines in a movie. That kind of thing would work in more like a TV series.

Here's some of my ideas:

-Have Max Dillon works for Norman Osborne as an electrician, and Norman is working on a generator which is a big copy of Tony Starks arc reactor. The core of the reactor is highly unstable so without telling this Norman puts Max to repair some parts of it, and while Max is working on the reactor it exploades on his face.
Max is taken to a hospital, and when he wakes up he finds himself in a ruber suit that is able to contain his raging electricity and so on. He wants revenge on Norman Osborne, and actually Norman is prepared for this knowing it was coming. He has hired a guy named Herman Schultz AKA shocker to kill Max Dillon AKA electro. That's all I have so far :P

and btw that Norman Osborne hearing voices and talking to his alter-ego green goblin in the end sounds fantastic! nice job

Well, like I said, Electro terrorizes the school, so much likely Doctor Connors will be in the school, but I don't think that would be much of an improvement...

Also, I like the idea of Electro working on a generator that is similar to Tony's Arc Reactor, that's cool!

BUT, Electro was already defeated by Spider-man, so Lizard wouldn't even need to be involved with Electro, since the Lizard is an all new plot point, and Electro would be in police custody.

Well, the death of uncle Ben being a conspiracy sounds a little lame. This time I want that the death of uncle Ben be just like in the original comic and not some **** like sandman killing uncle Ben.

Well Ben's death, I think, went perfect in the first film, and Raimi just screwed it up with adding Sandman, so I don't want to see a re-hash of Ben's death and I want something different, that's why I added that "conspiracy" element to it. It might sound dumb, but I think it would work well with the film and have another aspect of how Norman becomes Peter's greatest enemy, with having even gotten his uncle killed, and also a way for how he finds out Spider-Man's identity. Plus, it'll play to how Ultimate does it with Peter finding his abilities when someone tries to run him over, and et cetera.

Plus I think him becoming a wrestler is played out, and with modern times, it just wouldn't make sense anymore, imo. His first actions shouldn't be him trying to win money for a girl, but out for revenge from the start, but realizing that Uncle Ben always wanted more for Peter, thus he then becomes a hero.

Feels like too much for a first film. If Electro were to be in it, I'd be fine with just him and keep the depression stuff regarding Dr. Connors and him becoming the Lizard for the sequel just because the film itself will need a good amount of time to show off Spider-Man first and THEN the villain, imo.

As for my storyline, I just kept it with one villain, while showing Norman as a possible main villain, but sticking him as a side villain in a sense of how Falcone and Maroni were in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight and not even alluding to him becoming Green Goblin.

I do like how he hears Green Goblin's voice though. Perhaps as an after credit thing; it doesn't really have to show Norman taking the serum, but just him walking around his mansion, or perhaps even when he's sleeping and he hears voices.

I just like the idea of foreshadowing of what Norman is going to become. It just fits perfectly!

Also, Two villains, IMO, aren't too much, if it were 3 , then I would understand, but look at Batman Begins, it had Ra's Al Ghul and Scarecrow.

You're comparing two normal villains to two villains that have to go through transformations, along with a movie about a superhero that has to go through a transformation. So, yes, it would be too much. Have a super-powered villain along with some regular thugs and criminals, and that's fine.

^This^

I actually posted this exact idea a veeeery very long time ago over at IMDB. So yeah, I'm all for my idea...

-Have the mob causing the crime rate to rise.

-Spidey keeps getting in Kingpin's way, ruining his business.

-Kingpin sends a assassin to take out spidey. The assassin is Electro,he has gauntlets that shoot electricity, kind of like how Shocker does.

-Electro shows up at Peter's school where Electro followed spidey.Electro sees spidey enter a window to Dr.Connors lab.

-Electro blasts Dr.Connors thinking he is spidey, but the blast of electricity mutates the lizard DNA in Dr.Connors body and transforms him into the Lizard.

-When Kingpin hears how spidey was distracted with the Lizard for Electro to escape,Kinpin decides he needs more distractions for spidey to keep spidey busy when Kingpin can do his illegal business.so Kingpin creates more super villains.

I'm actually thinking that your idea would work nicely if instead of electro they would use a smaller villain like shocker or rhino because they wouldn't need a big story line that lasts for the whole movie.

When you think about it, electro is still kind of a big villain with a lot of potential. Besides if they would have a smaller villain they would have enough time to make dr. connors even more the main focus of the movie.

And you know what could also work? If they made the lizard not just look like a lizard or a dinosaur, but more like a really mutated man that has some lizard aspects in his look. I'm not saying that making him as a big scary lizard wouldn't work, but I'd also really like to see that idea (btw not originally my idea but anyway...)

The reason why (I think) Electro would be a good choice is because he is one of the first villains Spidey faces, and that could prove to be excellent since this is his first foray into being a superhero.

The part about Lizard is an OK idea, but making him the Lizard we all know and love will be cool to see on the big screen.

P.S : About Doctor Connors....how about a backstory when Peter befriends him and the whole nine yards?

I guess everyone seems to really want Lizard though; that's a good thing and one we can all agree on.

Spider-Man's origin is retold during the opening credits and It'd be a mix of the Ultimate version and the classic version. Pretty much what we saw in Spider-Man.

We are than introduced to Peter Parker. He's 16 and lives with his Aunt May in Queens. He's attending high school alongside Gwen Stacy, Harry Osborn, Mary-Jane Watson and Flash Thompson and his crime-fighting career has started for just a couple of months.

Peter's action drawn the attention of New York City's main crime lord, the Kingpin. Wanting to get rid of Spider-Man, the Kingpin pays corrupt businessman and scientist Norman Osborn to transform a goon called Mac Gargan into the Scorpion, whose mission is to kill Spider-Man.

However, the Scorpion gets out of control and becomes a threat to everyone in New York City, especially Peter's loved ones, prompting Peter to find a way to fight off his first supervillain yet.

That actually sounds really cool! And I'd just love to see MacGargan as a loser that everyone bosses around

The story I'm writing is a bit gritty in aspects. The theme is responsibility. Being responsible, accepting responsibility, dealing with guilt and learning redemption.

Peter is not coping well with Ben's death and feels he is responsible more than the burglar even. He hasnt yet learned the lesson "With Great Power, There Must Also Come Great Responsibility".

Peter is essentially being Spider-Man to beat up bad guys through his grief (Not anger and he still has gags :) ). He isnt living up to his hero status and is more focused on thugs, but that soon changes.

The story is about Spidey learning the hard, but valuable lesson of responsibility, which people around him sadly dont.
He learns to accept responsibility of his Uncle's death and seeks redemption through his actions as Spider-Man. Peter realises to make Spider-Man a true hero to NYC and accepting the responsibilities of being a hero.

Sounds good Rodrigo. It sounds alot like my idea too which is good. Lizard should be the main villain.

Wow, that sounds...awesome!!! :awesome:

I don't understand why people can't figure out that using Kingpin is impossible right now. He is owned by Fox.

I wouldn't mind something as basic as The Spider-Slayers/Kingpin/The Smythes for this first entree'.

And please to god don't turn this into another 'Dawsons Creek meets Spidey' like the Raimi films. I always thought that MJ was the one who pursued Peter, and he'd be the one to shy away from her because of his commitment to being Spidey. Tobey's Parker practically begged MJ at every turn...: pathetic:
