dark_b said:i think that the purpose of the BB marketing was to show as much poeple as possible that BB is not like batman & robin.
i think they never wanted to do it like BB.Dnsk said:& they do NOT have to do that with Superman Returns
Dnsk said:I am glad that the Superman Returns Campaign is NOTHING the Batman Begins one. With Batman Begins they showed so much so soon & also when the time came Marketing was basically non existent AFTER the Movie came out. Particuarly with the TV Spots. They stopped airing them completely AFTER the Movie came out when that s the time they should be airing NON STOP. I am glad in the long run that WB is doing it like this, They are LEARNING from their Batman Begins MISTAKES. That is the way I see it. Batman Begins had MUCH MORE against that Movie then Superman Returns does. Especially with the last 2 Batman Movies.

So a part of the non-existent marketing so far is probably due to a cutback in the marketing budget. Right now WB would be scared to throw another 50 million into the film. Especially is Icahn gets control of the board. Jobs could be on the line.
