Linderman was a healer. he didn't bring the dead back to life.

The one's I'd like to see are:

1. Probability Manipulation: Ability to alter probability, causing unlikely things to happen or likely things to not happen.

2. Umbrakinesis: The ability to control darkness. Usually manifests in being able to hide in darkness, teleport through shadows, create constructs out of darkness

3. Pheromone Manipulation: Pretty self explanatory.

I think those would be really cool to see on the show.

I thought Mrs. Petrelli was teasing a sonic scream when she told Claire, "you get that mouth from me."

Anyway, super strength has got to be a must eventually. Force fields would be cool too.

I'd like to see photographic reflexes (the ability to perfectly copy other people's movements) or a someone who can communicate with the dead.

I'd die happy if I never saw reality warping.

I think some others have said speedster. Don't see how you can have a show with superpowers without a speedster, it's like having a JLA w/o a Flash. Oh yeah, there's currently a JLA w/o a Flash. Realtiy warping would be too complicated for mainstream. A hero with animal like abilities would be cool. I think a great angle would be to explore people who have abilities/appearance that they can't hide among normal people (Morlocks?). I also would like to see another character with superstrength w/o the dual personality bit. And next season we gotta I MEAN GOTTA, have an evil genius who can scientifically counter the heroes powers.

What does everyone have against reality warping? It would open up alot of interesting concepts to play with, and it would just make a really would make a cool villain.

I'd also vote for someone to have electrically-based powers, not just simply shooting lighting bolts out of their fingertips but also control machines, generate force fields and even become a living bolt of lightning, sort of like the Ultimate version of Electro. They could even throw in the idea that, because he or she is constantly following with electricity, the person can't make skin to skin contact without actually electrocuting them.

I'd also think it would be really cool if there was a person who could, with almost perfect accuracy determine probability. Not know the future, but, when it comes to situations involving chance. Sort of like Maverick or Midnighter can do in that they rapidly determine every possible outcome and can choose accordingly.

I don't think I'd necessarily go for someone with a sonic scream, super breath, or super smell.

A couple of powers that I have in my Fan-Series "Heroes: Rising Age" are:

(Note: I took no ideas from this forum, but laughed at the fact that some are similar to my own ideas)

~Temperature Manipulation: This character's emotions affect the temperature of their surrounding invironment. Radius and intensity vary on the intesity of said emotion. Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tUa74qAYZqQ&mode=related&search=

~Ultra Low Frequency Screeching: The character is a Jazz singer who creates Ultra Low frequencies of sounds and learns to manipulate their sound waves.

~Seeing of the Past: Character can see any past events in the immediate environment they are in. For example, they are in a room, they can more or less rewind time (like a video) and see anything that has happened in that room from their position in the room, think Pensive from Harry Potter.

~Ever-Aging: This character is immortal to the tolls of time. They can be physically killed, however they are stuck at the age their powers manifested. Think 60 year old in a late teenage body.

~Infinite Thought: This character's power makes the user assest every milli second in their entire existance at a ridiculously fast rate. The user's perception is fast, however a second in a normal person's comprehension could seem like days, weeks, or even years in the mind of this character.

~Weaponized empathy: character is able to make people mirror their own emtions, or even perhaps with enough practice, control their targets emtion regardless of their own.

~360o Vision: Able to see in every direction at every moment!

And? The point of having a big bad is that he or she is tough to beat. And not every bad guy should be defeated with sheer brute force.

I like the pheromone idea. Especially if it's someone who isn't attractive or at least trashy, just to contrast and give them a wtf? feel.

How about a sixth sense? That would make a character able to sense people around him, sense people's emotions (if they mean harm or if they are good willed). And the character can also see peoples aura's. The characters other senses would be heightened too.

It's not really a kick ass power but i think it's kinda cool

There was a character who had laser blasts or could've. it was ted and they killed him off. What a character with potential. The guy was pretty sweet. I liked when he created the em pulse. d@mn then for taking him out!

Isn't that Parkman had or should have? The guy is a telepath, so I'm expecting if he survies next season that his power shouldn't just be limited to reading people minds.

Someone with Superstrength who's also invulnerable. Doesn't make sense to be superstrong without it. How could you rip steel apart and not tear your hand off? The pressure and force needed to do that would snap a normal person bones. Didn't get why Niki didn't have some kind of invulnerability. Also someone who's invulnerable wouldb't be able to get their head sliced opened by sylar, and then they could lay the smackdown on him.

Some of you think Matter Manipulation, reshaping objects or matter might be a cool power but my theory now is that there is one hero that might have it already and he show in the season finale. The hero I am thinking of is the sword shop owner. He has some connection to the sword and Hiro's father.
